Expleo Engineering UK (EEUK) are currently supporting our client in Turkey in the development of a new aircraft and we require an On-Site Project Manager to be based at the client's facility in Turkey to develop our growing relationship with the client. This will be a permanent position with a negotiable salary based on experience and skill set.
We currently have a number Engineers in Turkey and this number is set to increase significantly in 2021 and beyond as new programmes are developed. Reporting to the EEUK Senior Business Manager in the UK, you will act as the focal point for all communications between the client and EEUK and act as the on-site liaison between our engineers and the client.

Ideally you will be a Turkish national or be eligible for residency status in Turkey with excellent English and Turkish language skills.

Due to the nature of the project, candidates must be eligible to obtain national security clearance which will allow them to work on defence projects.

Person Specification
As the Project Manager, you will require the following skills:

Responsibilities
The single point of contact providing timely support to customer issues through multiple communication channels.
Track & monitor customer account status and identify areas of concern and provide solutions.
Source transactional and delivery activity data from the appropriate databases, analyse and prepare performance dashboards linked to KPI´s.
Host regular internal stakeholder reviews, reviewing solution delivery performance in accordance with the established KPI´s & SLA´s.
Where necessary, conduct comprehensive root-cause analysis and develop mitigation plans
Identify and seize cross- and up-sell opportunities for new services.

EXPERIENCE:
Considerable experience in high-profile customer account management or in a similar customer service role.
Experience of working in the aerospace industry or wider defence sector.
Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, organisational, and presentation skills.
High degree of proficiency with ERP systems and the MS office suite, particularly Excel & Power Point.
Willing and able to travel periodically as required by the role.
Ethical, fair and of high integrity.

Apply Ministry of Defence Architecture Framework (MODAF) based analysis to define System of Systems architecture

Support management of models set run rules for model development consistent with project configuration and data management process. Engineering tools and techniques provide support to define system concept requirements behaviours architecture and interfaces.

Expleo are currently supporting a client based in Turkey who are developing a 5th generation aircraft and we are looking for a number of Aerodynamics engineers to support this development. This will be an initial 12 month fixed term contract, the long term view is to bring the work (where possible) back to the UK. Due to Turkish work regulations you will have to enter the local tax system and be paid on a monthly basis but the salary will be based on an hourly rate which will reflect living/working overseas.

Candidates will have significant experience in the aerospace industry and ideally in the development of fast jet aircraft. Due to the nature of the work, candidates will be national from a NATO member state who is eligible for or in possession of security clearance to SC level.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Undertake Aerodynamics activities including numerical and experimental aerodynamics propulsion aerodynamics aero-thermodynamics and in-flight icing in accordance with project requirements safety requirements international standards company practices and company rules.
Identification of test requirements prepare requests for tests participate in tests and assessment of test results.
Support activities related to determination of Acceptable Means of Compliance authorship of Compliance Validation Documents and reporting non-compliance within the Airworthiness Certification context.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
BS and preferably higher degree in aerospace engineering (aerospace/aeronautical engineering)
Basic knowledge of fixed wing a/c design and analysis (External aerodynamics Intake aerodynamics Duct design and analyses…)
Experienced on CFD implementations (pre and post-processing flow field analysis solution algorithms turbulence models etc.)
Comprehensive knowledge of flight dynamics and flight performance
Comprehensive knowledge of dimensioning and placement of movable control surfaces that affect stability and controllability
Comprehensive knowledge of determination of the geometric parameters that affect the stability and control characteristics of the aircraft on the main geometry of the aircraft
Knowledge about the calculation methods of static and dynamic aerodynamic coefficients
Min. 5 years of experience in the relevant fields
