We require a Production/Machine Operator to work in a high-quality plastic moulding manufacturing environment.

Hours of work:

Monday – Thursday 10:00pm - 06:15am

Overtime – x1.5 for anything over standard working week, x2.0 for Sundays.

Overtime rates are only paid for a shift after the full shift has been completed

Duties will involve machine minding of plastic injection moulding machines, checking and trimming parts as they come off the machine, recording parts and scrap, and packing correctly. This role may also involve some basic assembly, working from route cards.

This is a temporary ongoing position which can become a permanent position for the right candidate, with potential for additional training and qualifications also possible.

They are an established company with over 30 years of experience in the events & hire industry based in the heart of Worcestershire serving the local areas as well as national events. Their markets cover small to large-scale events & festivals, corporate hospitality, NHS, private functions such as weddings, birthdays, christenings & parties, the construction sector, and the education sector too.

Duties will include answering the phone, taking bookings, preparing quotes, and some basic bookkeeping tasks using in-house accounting systems for which training will be given.
A positive and can-do attitude is a requisite for this position as during the busy events season it is a very busy office.

📢Our client based in Worcester is looking for a Production Operative to start immediately.

Duties
Cleaning the rust from pipes before production. (This can be a dirty, heavy lifting position as some of the tubes are big and thick metal.)
Polishing finished tubular products, training to use a variety of production machinery, and other manufacturing duties as required.
This is a great opportunity with a well-established company. There will be opportunities to learn and develop with the company for the right candidate.
