The role involves picking and sorting recyclable materials from a conveyor belt, cleaning around MRF, keeping the workplace clean and tidy.

- Maintenance of cost information.
- Verification and agreement of Sundry Accounts
- To assist in the production of Project Procurement Strategy Documentation
- To assist in the production of Project Value Enhancement Plans

Functional Management:
-To ensure the effective performance management and development of reports, and the
effective organisation of everyone working directly for them.

Additional Role Information: Ideal candidate would be preferred to have NEC3 experience particularly Option A in utilities / civils background on large-scale (volume and value).

- Assisting projects as requested or directed to support their delivery of a quality culture and performance
- Carry out on-site support and audits.
Support the Quality Board, SMT & project teams in the delivery of project and business compliance by:
- Supporting the facilitation and delivery of the Quality Plan across the business.
- Supporting projects to develop and embed quality behaviours, culture and performance.
- Supporting the Quality Toolkit, including assessment of areas of common failure to help projects to initiate and implement preventative and corrective action.

Your duties will include:

Responsible for supporting and delivering defect free region on the Contract in both the short and long term.
In particular:
* deliver against the Quality Plan in conjunction with the Quality Manager
* facilitate and support the improvement of contractors performance for quality
* improve right first time quality on both during and after construction

The success of the region will depend on the whole team doing their job and getting the basics right first time and as such, there must be a clear understanding on the project's expectations on what we expect from our people and subcontractors.
Getting this right will ensure we achieve the highest standards with regards to Health & Safety and deliver a quality product in line with the contract.
The list of duties given below aims to set out what is important such that we deliver 'right first time', whist ensuring at the same time our trade contractors deliver what we expect from them.

Role Expectations: To support the Quality Managers & project teams in the delivery of project and business compliance by:

- Taking responsibility for delivering the Quality audits and coaching across the region
- Audit and implementation of coaching when defect trends show issues with contractors. In particular, review product quality procedures to ensure that there is adequate control of the quality elements and facilitate as necessary to progress and close out long term defects.
- Supporting the Quality Manager to ensure that the region develops and embeds a quality behaviour, culture and performance improves.
- Communicate the quality message across the Business
- Provide advice on training requirements/availability to assist knowledge improvement with product teams.
- Provide support to our supply chain managers and supplier partners.
- Work with our clients and Support and respond in profession manner
- Manage your own time and help plan your work to the Quality Managers goals.


The position requires the applicant to have:
- A good understanding of the Openreach & Gigaclear network
- Experience in work under your own initiative
- Ability to audit and coach teams to improve quality
- Familiar with Telecoms network systems
- Systematic approach to achieve performance
- Strong communication skills
- IT skills to manage data and log daily progress

We are looking for a Build Agent to join us for works in the Devon & Somerset area, covering 5 Regionns, which will help to support the rollout of Fibre-to-the-Premise ultrafast broadband network to more than 80,000 premises in rural South West England.

The Build Agent position, is a key role in delivering a project for a new customer, and will be responsible for ensuring that all required activities are managed and conducted to time, scope and budget by the relevant department.

You will work with Staff, Suppliers and Customers, to deliver a new Fibre Optic Network in Devon & Somerset.

You will be responsible for the "Day to Day" operations of the sites and Suppliers Operatives, ensuring that all work is carried out to the correct standards and compliance, and ensuring that the project is progressed, as per programme timescales. You will liaise with Suppliers Supervisors and Operatives, as well as liaising with the Customer and Highway Authority Representatives, as necessary. You will also be responsible for providing daily updates to the Project Co-Ordinator, so that the Project / Programme can be updated, with the role being a key frontline delivery role.

The ideal applicant will have a good knowledge of Civils and Cabling activities, within a Telecommunications Network, and a good knowledge of HSEQ and NRSWA. Good liaison and management skills would be desirable, as the role will require interaction with numerous Stakeholders, Customer, Suppliers, Highway Department and local residents.

Purpose of Role: - To advise and support the business unit across the disciplines of safety, quality and environment management and practices.
- Assist in development and implementation of integrated management systems.
- Undertake workplace inspections and audits to monitor compliance to standards and systems

Principal Accountabilities:

1)Production of monthly reports as required by IMS Manager
2)Effective and timely investigation and reporting of key concerns
3)Plan and conduct effective integrated audits of company systems
4)Review and promulgation of industry standards and best practice
5)Regular effective meetings and liaison with project/office staff and customers Develop relationships with interested parties, especially in the field of safety, quality and environment.

Additional Role Information: The Project is worth 250million over 4 years and will involve intense installation program of works to complete, the volume of work is CDM notifiable and it would be impossible to be covered adequately with the existing H&S Arrangements (1 H&S Advisor in the SW Region). This mixed with the new technology of installation and risks associated with this volume of work and technology, it is deemed from a safety view that a fulltime role is required to keep the installation gangs safely monitored and given the correct support to overcome foreseeable issues onsite.
It will also show the client the commitment to H&S and provide the professionalism which is expected from a business this size on this type of project.
Any failure to fulfil this role would leave the company exposed, if an incident occurred and to prove adequate monitoring with safety provision on such planned CDM works of this scale.
This is a permanent role due to the fact the contract is looking to last over two years.
This ROLE will provide the management oversight of these activities. The ROLE will also be responsible for ensuring that all required activities are managed and conducted to time, scope and budget by the relevant department; escalating to the programme director where appropriate.

We are recruiting a number of Surveying Agents for the portfolio of works in the BDUK area of Devon & Somerset, covering 5 Regions.

The Surveying Agent position, is a key role in delivering a project for a new customer, and will be responsible for ensuring that all Customer plans are validated, that a validated and amended plan can be sent back to the Customer. This role is critical to the success of the project, as the Bill of Quantities for the respective cabinet area will be built and submitted to the Customer, based on the output of the Survey.

The role is to work with Staff, Suppliers Representatives, Customer and Highway Authority Representatives, to survey the proposed route, cabinet and POT locations, recording any measurements and changes.

The candidate will be responsible for the complete validation of the Customers Planned routes and Bill of Quantities, recording the whole route and plant location, confirming the Trenching method that can be used, along with surface types and exact measurements. The Survey Agent will liaise with Suppliers Supervisors, and with the Customer and Highway Authority Representatives, as necessary, to undertake a complete route Validation survey, so that an accurate Build Plan and Bill of Quantities can be created, for submission to the Customer for approval. The Candidate will also have to provide daily updates to the Project Co-Ordinator, so that the Project / Programme can be updated, with the role being a key frontline delivery role.

Ensure the driver delivery notes are printed, sorted and arranged into routes. 
Ensure the driver tabs are charged, in working order ready to be allocated to the driver  Ensure the loading of the vehicles is correct and checked on departure 
Ensure all drivers are prebriefed and vehicle checks completed and company process followed.
