We are currently recruiting for an experienced Injection Moulding Setter to join a busy manufacturing environment based in Halesfield, Telford (TF7).

about the Role

You will be responsible for setting and operating injection moulding presses, ensuring machinery is correctly configured and products are manufactured to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities include:

Installing and securing aluminium moulds into injection moulding presses.
Setting machine operating parameters from scratch for sample moulds.
Setting machines using established setting sheets for production moulds.
Loading materials into machine hoppers.
Inspecting sample parts for accuracy and quality.
Recording process specifications on setting/PVT sheets.
Removing and staging moulds for disassembly.
Troubleshooting and correcting process issues at the press.
Purging barrels of leftover material at the end of production runs.
Supporting Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.
Following all company quality, safety and operational procedures.

Hours - 6AM-2PM and 2PM-10PM
Salary - £30,000 - 40,000 DOE

Jam Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting for a Field Operative to join a busy potato farming operation in the Oswestry (SY10) area. this is a 12 week temp to perm position and duties include:

Digging potato samples from designated areas of fields
Inspecting and assessing potatoes for quality
Checking samples and accurately recording results
Reporting findings and any quality concerns to the relevant team members
Working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
Supporting the wider farm operation when required
Maintaining accurate records and ensuring information is entered correctly

£13.50 -£14.50 P/H DOE
