Having spent a fair bit of time at the Royal Marsden hospitals accompanying 2 friends for treatment I can vouch for the fact that they absolutely live and breathe their values. How many organisations can claim that? Not enough in my experience. A wonderful organisation providing an outstanding patient experience

This post resonates so strongly with me. How many people have been made to feel a failure or a misfit because they are wired a bit differently.

For anyone with dyslexia or any other neuro diverse condition, seek the support and understanding you are entitled to and deserve. Think about what conditions enable you to feel confident and do your best work and speak to your manager or your HR department to ask for any changes that will help you to be considered.

For people managers, get curious when you can see someone struggling. What would enable them to flourish? Do this partly because the law requires you to but mainly because it’s the right thing to do. It literally life changing when someone feels understood and accepted and you will be amazed under those conditions what they deliver.
