🕰️How time flies...

Can you believe it's been a whole 12 months since we moved into our new office.

We are now well and truly part of the Winnersh Triangle Business Park neighbourhood, having been regulars at their bootcamp and yoga classes every week, and regular visitors to various pop up events they have had like the Christmas Wreath and Hanging Basket making sessions. And not forgetting the annual Summer Fete which we went along to on Tuesday🌞

🌞Making the most of the Bank Holiday sunshine...🌞

Bank holidays are a rare treat (ok so we know there was one a few weeks ago as well but go with it😉) , a chance to relax, recharge, and spend time in ways we don’t always get to during the working week.

🧠We listened in on a great webinar this week hosted by Everway on creating a more neuro-inclusive workplace.

There was a framework shared by Disability:IN which particularly stood out as it simplified what we can do as employers to really create a truly neuro-inclusive workplace - and it showed it's not that complicated!

But the biggest takeaway that struck a chord was the idea of designing workplaces, tools and support structures for everyone, not just neuro-diverse employees.

So rather than waiting for individuals to disclose conditions or request adjustments, why aren't we simply asking: “How do we create systems, processes and environments that help all employees perform at their best?”

It could be anything from following up meetings with written summaries, clearer communication overall, flexible working, AI-assisted tools, quieter spaces, or more supportive management styles. Surely these adjustments benefit most people, not just a singled out group. Research is telling us they often improve productivity, wellbeing, engagement and retention across the wider workforce too, so it's a no brainer right?
