We’re recruiting for a growing scenic design & construction company working across theatre, television, film, advertising and events.

They’re looking for an experienced Scenic Carpenter / Workshop Manager to become a key part of the next stage of their growth.

This is a hands-on role for someone who loves making, building, problem-solving and taking ownership – working across everything from scenic and architectural builds to props, furniture, installations and bespoke one-off pieces.

📍 Birmingham – on site
💰 £34,000–£36,000 pro rata
⏰ Initially part-time with guaranteed hours + additional overtime available
📈 Potential to develop into a full-time position as the business grows

IMPORTANT: You must have relevant scenic carpentry experience within the film, TV or theatre sector. This is not a general carpentry position.

The Fix Creative is recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to join our client, a specialist agency delivering bespoke retail, experiential, hospitality and commercial fit-out projects across the UK & Europe.

We’re looking for someone with 3+ years’ industry experience (ideally 5+) who knows the world of retail fit-out / shopfitting and thrives in a fast-paced environment managing multiple live projects at once.

You’ll be managing projects from brief through to installation — liaising with clients, suppliers and subcontractors, attending site surveys and meetings, coordinating workshop production and installs, managing budgets, programmes, variations, RAMS and project documentation.

You’ll need to be highly organised, responsive and confident juggling both small and large projects while keeping quality, safety and client satisfaction firmly on track.

Retail fit-out / shopfitting experience is essential.
