Their fully equipped in-house workshops cover & , CNC machining, , making, scenic finishing and , enabling them to produce complex builds from concept through to installation.

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Carpenter / Joiner to work on a variety of bespoke projects in a fast-paced and highly creative environment.

Responsibilities
Manufacture and assemble bespoke scenic builds, exhibition stands, set pieces and custom joinery
Interpret technical drawings and fabrication details accurately
Work with a variety of materials including timber, MDF, laminates and specialist finishes
Collaborate closely with workshop, production and installation teams
Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within project deadlines
Assist with onsite installations when required

Requirements
Proven experience as a Carpenter, Joiner or Bench Joiner
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Experience within scenic build, exhibitions, events, shopfitting, theatre, TV or bespoke manufacturing advantageous

We are currently recruiting for a talented / to join a leading creative construction company specialising in high-end build, , , , , environments, and large-scale creative .

This creative construction company has built a reputation for delivering exceptional projects across theatre, television, exhibitions, conferences, museums, live events, retail and engineering. Their in-house workshops cover carpentry & joinery, CNC machining, engineering, prop making, painting and spray finishing, allowing them to bring complex creative concepts to life from design through to installation.

Working alongside project managers, designers and workshop teams, you will be responsible for producing detailed technical and construction drawings for a wide range of bespoke projects.

Responsibilities

Produce accurate technical drawings and detailed CAD packages
Interpret creative concepts into buildable technical drawings
Work closely with design, fabrication and project teams
Prepare construction drawings for scenic builds, exhibitions and bespoke environments
Amend and update drawings throughout project delivery
Support workshop and onsite installation teams with technical information

Requirements
Previous experience as a Draftsperson, CAD Technician or Technical Designer
Strong AutoCAD skills (experience with Vectorworks, SolidWorks or similar advantageous)
Experience producing technical drawings within construction, exhibitions, scenic build, events, interiors or manufacturing
Strong understanding of fabrication and construction methods
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced creative environment

Package
£40,000 salary for permanent candidates
£250 per day for freelance contractors
