We are extremely proud to showcase our work at the beautiful Grade II listed Parish Church of St Mary’s in Weymouth.

Built in 1817, this stunning historic building required improved accessibility to ensure it can be enjoyed by everyone. Our team was brought in to help deliver a sensitive solution that respected the character of the church while enhancing access.

A new access ramp has been installed at the northernmost door on the western front, providing improved disabled access to the building. Alongside this, we fabricated and installed bespoke, period-correct looking handrails designed to complement the church’s original architecture and surroundings.

Projects like this are always especially rewarding, combining craftsmanship, functionality, and heritage preservation.

An absolute pleasure for TG Welding to be part of such a meaningful project for such a beautiful and historic building.

Apologies for the radio silence, I have just got back from a fabulous two-week holiday.

A huge shoutout to the team who’ve kept everything moving while I’ve been away. They have made fantastic progress on our live projects, and it’s great to come back and see things in such a strong position.

The polished steel handrails are coming along especially well, really proud of the quality and attention to detail going into these.

Back to it now and looking forward to sharing more updates soon.
