π SEMH Support Assistant Required β Immediate Start π

π· Pay: Β£92.63 β Β£106.88 per day
SEND Inclusion Support is seeking a compassionate and patient SEMH Support Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a primary-aged pupil.
The pupil experiences social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs and requires a calm, consistent, and supportive adult to help them engage positively with school life and learning.
This role is focused on building trust, promoting emotional wellbeing, and supporting academic engagement. The successful candidate will be able to balance nurturing support with appropriate encouragement and high expectations.
β¨ We are looking for someone who:
β’ Has experience supporting children/young people with SEND and/or SEMH needs
β’ Is patient, empathetic, and understanding
β’ Can build strong, trusting relationships
β’ Remains calm and consistent during periods of anxiety or dysregulation
β’ Can support both emotional wellbeing and academic progress
β’ Works collaboratively with school staff and parents
β’ Is committed to helping children develop confidence, resilience, and independence
β
A current Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service is essential.

Available to start immediately full time.
