Main Role: To program our CNC Drilling machines and 5 Axis Routing machine.

Side Role: To complete requested drawings of bespoke unit designs from our sales team, so that they can be understood by all departments then manufactured and built by our production line.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Composing technical drawings and assemblies in Solidworks CAD software

Using our panel processing software package to create the requested units or specials required

Interfacing with the production chain. Dealing with enquiries and amendments

Working in a team and as an individual to tackle workloads efficiently

Responsible for adhering to deadlines

Dealing with enquiries

Good attention to detail

Competent in working with Excel and Word

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

Experience in using CAD software would be beneficial but not necessary, as full training will be provided

Purpose and objectives of the role

An Ashley Ann Production Operative plays a crucial role in the manufacturing process by ensuring the efficient and smooth operation of production machinery and processes. The primary goal is to contribute to the production of our high-quality Ashley Ann product in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Main duties and responsibilities

• Assemble components or products according to specifications
• Operate and control machinery used in the production process
• Follow standardised work instructions and adhere to quality standards
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
• Transport raw materials, finished products & other items within the production area
• Conduct visual inspections to identify defects or abnormalities
• Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment
• Maintain accurate records of production activities
• Communicate effectively with the management team and colleagues
• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production goals

Special Requirements
