Mon to Thurs 07.00am to 16.00pm and Fri 07.00am to 13.00pm

We are seeking an ASSEMBLY OPERATIVE to join our client on a temporary on-going basis. For the right candidate, it could lead to a permanent role. You will be working within a warehouse environment. This is a physical labour role where you will be lifting and moving large sheets of MDF, MFC, Chipboard and Plywood into a press machine.
At times you may also be required to assist with other tasks such as:
Sorting and checking flat components
Moving materials between departments
Basic assembly tasks
Preparing materials
Packing parts for despatch

What we need from you:
Must be physically strong
High attention to detail
Confidence to work in a busy production environment
Passport OR Birth Certificate with National Insurance proof

Your duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to: -
Perform MOT tests per DVSA regulations
Service, diagnose, and repair vehicles
Maintain accurate records and ensure quality workmanship
Communicate effectively with customers
Adhere to health and safety regulations
Requirements:
MOT Tester Certification (Class 4 & 7)
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
Proven mechanical experience with diagnostic skills
Full, clean UK driving licence
Strong attention to detail & teamwork skills
UK manual Driving licence

Working within a warehouse environment at times the cables can be dirty and vary in size of thickness. This is not a full-time role hence recruiting people who are seeking additional top up work. When we get notified by the client all that are on the list will be contacted to gain availability. Due to the nature of the weather and the seas the shifts can change at short notice.

£13.56 per hour, increasing to £14.13ph after 3 months

Our client is seeking a LABORATORY ANALYST to join them on a temporary on-going basis. For the right candidate it could lead to a permanent position. You will be able to carry the following tasks but not limited to:
Chemical Analysis
Of nisin concentration (HPLC), and to ensure that all stages of production and the final product conforms to company specifications of Plant Support systems.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards Microbiological Analysis of all stages of production and the final product.
Ensure it conforms to company specifications of Plant Support systems
Ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards to monitor plant hygiene to maintaining Culture Stocks
Hygiene (Technical) Audits
Participate in site hygiene audits to help maintain company safety and hygiene standards participate in site BBS (behavioural based safety) observational programme Meetings attend and participate in all site, SHEQ, improvement and team meetings as appropriate
Company Databases
Maintain all site QC databases
Prepare data for morning and other meetings as appropriate

Candidate CV must show:
Either a pass degree in Food Science/Chemistry/Biochemistry/Microbiology or a laboratory qualification to HNC/HND level with a number of years relevant experience working in food-based laboratories
NVQ level 3 or equivalent in science-based studies with relevant experience working in food-based laboratories will be considered.

Must hold:
Passport or Birth Certificate with proof of National Insurance
