Yesterday, members of the MEM Recruitment team had the pleasure of joining Raunds Women’s Rounders for a training session.

As proud sponsors of the team, DSV continues to support local sport and community initiatives, and it was fantastic to see that support in action.

A huge thank you to everyone for making us feel so welcome. We had a great time, learned a few new skills, and shared plenty of laughs along the way!

⚽ Football shirts, great conversations and an even greater cause. 🤍

Today the team at DSV AND MEM Recruitment proudly supported Kelly’s Heroes by wearing our favourite football shirts and making donations to this incredible local charity.

Based in Northamptonshire, Kelly’s Heroes works tirelessly to raise awareness of mental health, provide support to those struggling, and help prevent su***de through education, counselling and community initiatives. Their mission is to ensure that nobody has to face their darkest moments alone.

Mental health affects us all, whether directly or indirectly, and events like this provide a fantastic opportunity to start conversations, raise awareness and show support for those who may be struggling.

A huge thank you to everyone who got involved, donated and proudly wore their colours today. It was great to see such a variety of shirts across the site and, more importantly, to see people coming together for a cause that truly matters.

Together, we can help break the stigma and remind people that it’s okay not to be okay.

Today is World IBD Day — a day that means a lot to me personally. 💜

Living with Crohn’s disease is something that many people don’t always see or fully understand. On the outside, you can look absolutely fine whilst internally fighting exhaustion, pain, uncertainty and flare ups that can impact every part of daily life.

IBD is invisible to many, but for those living with it, it is constant.

Today is about raising awareness, showing support, and reminding anyone battling Crohn’s or Colitis that they are not alone. There are so many people silently fighting the same fight every single day whilst continuing to show up for work, family, friends and life in general.

I’m proud to stand with the Crohn’s & Colitis community today and help raise awareness for a condition that affects so many people across the UK and beyond.

Be kind. Be understanding. Not every battle is visible. 💜

“In May, We Wear Green” for Mental Health Month 💚

At MEM Recruitment, we feel incredibly fortunate to work alongside a client such as DSV - Global Transport and Logistics , who continue to place genuine importance on the mental health and wellbeing of their people.

Throughout Mental Health Month, teams across site came together to take part in a mental health walk, creating time to step away from the day to day pressures, get some fresh air, connect with colleagues and most importantly, talk.

Of course, no great conversation is complete without cake, and our team spent the morning travelling across the county delivering cakes to sites to support the initiative and help bring people together. 🍰

Sometimes the smallest gestures can open the biggest conversations. Whether it was over a coffee, during the walk, or simply sitting together for five minutes, the day created opportunities for people to check in on one another and remind each other that mental health matters, not just this month, but every single day.

A huge credit to DSV for continuing to foster a culture where people feel supported, valued and encouraged to speak openly. We are proud to support a partnership that genuinely cares about its people.

Sometimes it’s easy to forget how much happens behind the scenes in recruitment.

The early mornings, the weekend cover, the last-minute calls, the constant problem solving… all to make sure our clients are supported and our people are exactly where they need to be.

I’m incredibly proud of the team we’ve built at MEM and everything we continue to deliver - day in, day out.

What a week 🐣

Easter at DSV - Global Transport and Logistics has been nothing short of incredible. We made sure that every single one of the full-time team and temporary colleagues felt part of it, delivering Easter eggs across the board, a small gesture, but one that meant a lot.

What stands out the most is the true partnership we have with DSV. We’re always included in every event they put on for their teams, and that level of collaboration and respect doesn’t go unnoticed and we’re genuinely grateful.

The giving didn’t stop there either…
The Raunds site donated Easter eggs to the local food bank, while Thrapston shared theirs with Kettering General Hospital NHS Foundation Trust Skylark Ward and a local nursing home. Always giving back to the community and making a difference where it matters most.

And of course, it wouldn’t be a DSV celebration without a bit of fun – karaoke, egg and spoon races, egg decorating and plenty of laughs along the way.

A huge thank you for such a fantastic week. My team and I have loved every minute. 🤍

Not your average Saturday morning… 😇

We swapped the day job for bin bags to support the annual litter pick organised by Raunds Town Council and when DSV - Global Transport and Logistics asked for volunteers, the team delivered.

No job titles. No divide. Just one team.

Full-time staff and temporary operatives side by side, giving up their Saturday morning to do something positive for the community they work in every day.

That’s what DSV is all about, people, culture, and consistently giving back.

Proud is an understatement. 🤍🤍
