☀️ DSV Annual Summer Fun Day 2026 ☀️

What a day! 🥳

The sun was shining, the games were competitive (as always 😂), plenty of food was eaten, ice creams were definitely needed 🍦☀️ and, most importantly, lots of money was raised for charity ❤️

A huge shoutout to Roksanna, who truly is the BEST host! 👏🏼 You always manage to bring everyone together and make these days so much fun.

It’s days like this that remind you how important it is to take some time away from the day to day, have a laugh together and enjoy being part of a great team.

And to round off DSV’s 50th birthday celebrations, it was Thrapston’s turn… and what a way to finish the week! 🎉

The sunshine continued to make an appearance, creating the perfect backdrop for another fantastic day. The team enjoyed burgers fresh off the grill, plenty of birthday cake, and even a visit from the ice cream van, a very welcomed treat in this beautiful weather! Thank you Wayne Ramswell 🍦

The charity stocks once again proved to be a huge success, raising even more money for a fantastic cause while providing plenty of laughs along the way. It was brilliant to see everyone getting involved, from those taking part to those cheering from the sidelines.

These celebrations have been a great reminder that whilst we’re incredibly busy and gearing up for peak, taking the time to recognise milestones, support charity, and bring people together is just as important. Seeing colleagues from across the site enjoying themselves and celebrating such a significant achievement made for a truly fantastic end to the week.

A huge congratulations to everyone at DSV on 50 incredible years. Here’s to the next chapter! 🎂🎈

Celebrating 50 years of DSV… what a fantastic way to kick things off at Raunds! 🎂

This week, we were proud to be part of DSV’s 50th Birthday celebrations. There was a real festival atmosphere throughout the day, from games and challenges to members of the management team taking their place in the stocks for charity. Burgers, cakes and plenty of popcorn, it was a day everyone could enjoy.

While some of our MEM Recruitment team joined in the celebrations, the rest kept the operation running smoothly. With peak just around the corner, it’s an incredibly busy time, but the team went above and beyond to ensure both the celebrations and the day to day operation were a success.

Despite the heat, the smiles never faded and what stood out the most was seeing every member of staff included, regardless of their length of service. That sense of inclusion is a real credit to DSV and one of the many reasons we’re proud to support the business.

A huge well done to our team for their hard work and commitment, and a very Happy 50th Birthday to DSV. We can’t wait to continue the celebrations at Thrapston later this week! 🎉

Today, we had the pleasure of joining DSV Raunds for their Wimbledon themed employee engagement event.

It was great to see colleagues coming together to enjoy the traditional strawberries and cream while catching up on the Wimbledon action during their breaks. 🍓🎾

Yesterday, members of the MEM Recruitment team had the pleasure of joining Raunds Women’s Rounders for a training session.

As proud sponsors of the team, DSV continues to support local sport and community initiatives, and it was fantastic to see that support in action.

⚽ Football shirts, great conversations and an even greater cause. 🤍

Today the team at DSV AND MEM Recruitment proudly supported Kelly’s Heroes by wearing our favourite football shirts and making donations to this incredible local charity.

Based in Northamptonshire, Kelly’s Heroes works tirelessly to raise awareness of mental health, provide support to those struggling, and help prevent su***de through education, counselling and community initiatives. Their mission is to ensure that nobody has to face their darkest moments alone.

Mental health affects us all, whether directly or indirectly, and events like this provide a fantastic opportunity to start conversations, raise awareness and show support for those who may be struggling.

A huge thank you to everyone who got involved, donated and proudly wore their colours today. It was great to see such a variety of shirts across the site and, more importantly, to see people coming together for a cause that truly matters.

Together, we can help break the stigma and remind people that it’s okay not to be okay.

Today is World IBD Day — a day that means a lot to me personally. 💜

Living with Crohn’s disease is something that many people don’t always see or fully understand. On the outside, you can look absolutely fine whilst internally fighting exhaustion, pain, uncertainty and flare ups that can impact every part of daily life.

IBD is invisible to many, but for those living with it, it is constant.

Today is about raising awareness, showing support, and reminding anyone battling Crohn’s or Colitis that they are not alone. There are so many people silently fighting the same fight every single day whilst continuing to show up for work, family, friends and life in general.

I’m proud to stand with the Crohn’s & Colitis community today and help raise awareness for a condition that affects so many people across the UK and beyond.

Be kind. Be understanding. Not every battle is visible. 💜

“In May, We Wear Green” for Mental Health Month 💚

At MEM Recruitment, we feel incredibly fortunate to work alongside a client such as DSV - Global Transport and Logistics , who continue to place genuine importance on the mental health and wellbeing of their people.

Throughout Mental Health Month, teams across site came together to take part in a mental health walk, creating time to step away from the day to day pressures, get some fresh air, connect with colleagues and most importantly, talk.

Of course, no great conversation is complete without cake, and our team spent the morning travelling across the county delivering cakes to sites to support the initiative and help bring people together. 🍰

Sometimes the smallest gestures can open the biggest conversations. Whether it was over a coffee, during the walk, or simply sitting together for five minutes, the day created opportunities for people to check in on one another and remind each other that mental health matters, not just this month, but every single day.

A huge credit to DSV for continuing to foster a culture where people feel supported, valued and encouraged to speak openly. We are proud to support a partnership that genuinely cares about its people.
