Job Title: Catering Assistant
Location: Wellingborough
Hours: Part-time, 25 hours per week
Pay Rate: £11.80 per hour
About the Role:
We are currently seeking a dedicated Catering Assistant to join our team in Wellingborough. As a vital part of our operation, you will contribute to the smooth running of our canteen and kitchen facilities, ensuring exceptional service to our colleagues and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
Procuring stock for food preparation and vending machines
Monitoring and managing stock levels
Ensuring quality and expiry dates of stock
Food preparation in line with hygiene standards
Maintaining and replenishing vending machines
Offering hospitality support
Upholding cleanliness in canteen, kitchen, and dining areas
Adhering to food hygiene, HACCP, Allergen, and COSHH guidelines
Ensuring compliance with temperature controls and code dates
Requirements:
Previous cooking experience is essential
Food safety level 2 certification is required
Excellent customer service skills
Friendly and cooperative personality
Ability to thrive in a team environment
High standard of personal presentation
Flexibility to cover various shifts, including weekends
Shift Pattern:
Sunday: 3pm - 8pm (5 hours)
Four days during the week: 5 hours each day (specific days to be discussed)
Must be available for a Friday shift from 8am - 13pm
