Eastfield Associates is recruiting an experienced, commercially minded Guest Relations Manager for a prestigious luxury country house hotel near Ipswich.

We're looking for a confident, hands-on hospitality professional who knows how to lead great teams, deliver exceptional guest experiences and drive rooms revenue.

THE ROLE:

✅ Lead Reception, Housekeeping and Night Operations

✅ Drive occupancy, ADR and rooms revenue performance

✅ Maintain exceptional 4-star guest service standards

✅ Manage departmental budgets, staffing and operational efficiency

✅ Work directly with the General Manager and external revenue management specialists

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

✔ Proven hotel supervisory or management experience

✔ Strong leadership and operational skills

✔ Commercial awareness and understanding of rooms revenue

✔ A genuine passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction

✔ Food & Beverage experience would be an advantage

4-star luxury boutique country house hotel located near Ipswich in Suffolk

Eastfield Associates is recruiting on behalf of a hotel client for an experienced and hands-on Front of House Manager to lead reception, housekeeping and night operations.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hospitality professional who is organised, commercially aware and passionate about delivering a high standard of guest service while keeping hotel operations running smoothly and efficiently.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day leadership of the Reception, Housekeeping and Night teams, ensuring a seamless guest journey from arrival to departure.

A key part of the role will be your focus on rooms revenue performance. Working closely with an external rates management company, you will help maximise occupancy, support (ADR) performance and contribute to overall revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities
Lead, motivate and manage the Reception, Housekeeping and Night teams Ensure excellent guest service standards are maintained at all times
Oversee check-in, check-out, reservations and guest enquiries Coordinate housekeeping operations to ensure rooms and public areas are presented to a high standard
Manage rotas, recruitment, training and team cover across departments
Monitor occupancy, room rates, accommodation revenue and departmental performance Work alongside the rates management company to support revenue growth and budget achievement
Control staffing costs and departmental efficiency while maintaining service standards Ensure compliance with hotel procedures, security requirements, and health amp; safety policies.
Maintain clear communication across departments to support smooth hotel operations.

Experience Required
Previous supervisory or management experience within a hotel environment Strong leadership, organisation and communication skills.
A hands-on and practical approach to daily operations Good understanding of occupancy, ADR, room revenue and hotel budgets Experience using Microsoft Office, email and hotel booking systems.
High standards of guest care, presentation and cleanliness
Ability to remain calm under pressure and solve problems effectively
Flexibility to work 5 days per week, including weekends

Reports to: General Manager

Live-in accommodation: Not available

Food and Beverage experience would be an advantage .

Career progression: Excellent opportunity to progress into a Deputy General Manager role.

GENERAL MANAGER – 3-STAR HOTEL | GLASGOW

117 Bedrooms | Hands-On Leadership | Commercial Focus

Eastfield Associates is recruiting an experienced General Manager to lead a busy 117-bedroom, 3-star hotel in Glasgow.

This is a visible, hands-on leadership role for a commercially minded hotelier who knows how to drive standards, motivate a team and deliver a consistently strong guest experience.

You’ll take full responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the hotel, including Rooms Division, limited Food & Beverage, team performance, budgets, compliance and profitability.

We’re looking for someone who can:
- Lead from the front and take ownership of the operation
- Develop, motivate and manage the hotel team
- Maintain strong guest service standards across all departments
- Drive revenue, control costs and improve profitability
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and performance
- Ensure full health, safety and licensing compliance
- Work closely with senior management to deliver business objectives

You could currently be an experienced General Manager or a strong Operations Manager ready for the next step.

You’ll need to be operationally strong, commercially aware, confident with people and comfortable taking responsibility for the whole hotel.
