Last month Liz Bowling Assoc CIPD and Emma Shrader visited More Than Men, one of the incredible charities we’re proud to support, to see first-hand the difference their work makes.

The money raised goes far beyond meals, it funds breakfasts, helps cover costs for the snooker club, and most importantly, creates opportunities for meaningful social interaction. Taking some of the lads out to play snooker not only tackles social isolation, but also opens the door to honest conversations in a relaxed setting.

We’re proud to play a small part in supporting such important initiatives. 💙

We’re excited to share that as part of our Greater Reach Fund, we’ve chosen More Than Men as one of the four groups/charities we’ll be supporting into next year.

More Than Men is a fantastic local group that organises social and community activities to support men with their mental health - a cause close to our hearts.

Our donation will support them to:
🎄 Host a Christmas meal, bringing people together during the festive season
🍳 Continue their breakfast groups, creating a welcoming space for connection and conversation
✨ Plan future activities to make an even bigger impact in 2025

Warrington has been our home for over 25 years and we feel privileged to give back to the community that has supported us so well. Through the Greater Reach Fund, which opens several times a year, we aim to help groups like More Than Men make a real difference.

This morning, we brought the festive spirit (and plenty of sugar!) to the office with our sweetest fundraiser yet....our Festive Bake-Off.

From gooey brownies to a show-stopping spiced drip cake, our talented colleagues truly outdid themselves while raising money for our nominated charities.

And the winners are:

🥇 Carmel – First place with a stunning spiced chocolate drip cake.
🥈 Katie – Second place with her creative chocolate Christmas tree and cake pops.
🥉 Will – Third place with his delicious chocolate brownies.

A big shout out to our judges Emma, Liz and our MD David, who bravely took on the 'tough' task of tasting every single submission – no easy feat when everything looked and tasted this good!

Yesterday, we enjoyed a fantastic Christmas lunch at our Warrington Head Office, complete with all the trimmings and a delicious brownie and ice-cream to finish!

A big thank you to Ian and Margaret at Le Brunch, our on-site café, for making it so special.
