We are proudly recruiting for a Head of Finance on behalf of our client, a prestigious asset investment organisation, to manage, lead, and develop a team of qualified fund controllers and fund accountants, based in the City of London.
Reporting directly to the CFO for EMEA Investments, the incumbent will be responsible for:
• Managing relationships with fund administrators, depositaries, tax consultants, and property management agent and developing a premium fund finance platform by identifying areas for improvement and implementing new systems
• Ensuring delivery on time across deal ex*****on, capital calls and distribution notices, management accounts and audit, and investor queries
• Management and oversight of production of quarterly investor reports and accounts, capital calls or distribution notices and fund budgets, forecasts, and analytics
• Assisting with deal ex*****on (liaising with tax advisors, accountants, lawyers, and investment team)
• Leading the setup of new fund vehicles, as required
• Reviewing the Pricing and Valuation Committee packs prepared by the Fund Controllers
• Supporting the acquisitions team with underwriting analysis and at the ex*****on stage of transactions
• Monitoring portfolio performance
• Managing investor requests and queries and supporting the Investor Relations team
The experience we are looking for to fulfil this role is:
• A fully qualified accountant with an excellent academic background (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
• Extensive experience as a Fund Controller, Head of Fund Finance, or equivalent, preferably in Real Estate Investment Management
• Relevant experience in Real estate, Fund structuring, REIT, FCA and COLL
• Knowledge of financial reporting standards (either IFRS, UK GAAP or LUX GAAP)
• Ideally experience of treasury management, valuation, and analysis skills
• Excellent all-round interpersonal skills
