Our client is a British company specializing in the design and manufacture of high-quality wallpapers and fabrics and known for its unique and artistic designs that often draw inspiration from historical patterns and natural elements. The Studio Design Director is a senior, hands-on creative role responsible for leading the design and development of wallpaper and fabric collections from concept through to production. Working closely with the Creative Director, the role combines creative vision with strong technical expertise in pattern design, colour, scale, repeats, substrates and digital printing.

The position involves creating original designs, developing freelance contributions, overseeing the studio design process, and ensuring all work remains true to the brand’s distinctive aesthetic and heritage. The role also includes supporting and guiding the design team, while helping shape the future structure and growth of the studio.

They should be an experienced senior designer with strong leadership skills, excellent organisation, technical confidence, and a collaborative, thoughtful approach to working across teams and with external partners. Interior Designer, London, to £40k, V04298. Our client is renown as an experienced Interior Decorating Studio with sophisticated elegance and low-key luxury. The Principal Designers are as respected for working in an innovative and modern way as much as they are for the timelessness of their more traditional projects. With an extremely busy workload they are currently looking for a Designer to join one of their design teams based centrally in London. There will also be some travel involved both within the UK as well as abroad (which can involve overnight stays).

Role & Responsibilities: Assisting with designing and managing projects from initial enquiry to completion; Drawing and altering floor plans and elevations in CAD and by hand, as necessary; Assisting with schemes - Sourcing ideas for fabrics, furniture and all other hard finishes, liaising with suppliers and requesting samples and quotes; Producing sample and presentation boards; Drafting building schedules from paint specifications to bathroom specifications and all other FF&E items and once ordered, creating schedules to manage deliveries and installation; Placing orders, co-ordinating collections and deliveries and monitoring them against deadlines; Maintaining and developing fabric and finishes libraries.

With 5+ years' experience in a similar role within the luxury residential UK marketplace you’ll have strong organisational and time management skills, as well as good administrative skills. You’ll have IT literacy in all Microsoft Office programmes (Outlook, Word and Excel) plus PowerPoint and proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop and InDesign. You’ll be highly numerate and articulate with good interpersonal and communication skills plus an understanding of traditional and contemporary materials, furnishings, accessories and artwork sourcing. Possession of a driving licence will also be needed.

Salary is between £36,000 and £40,000 dependant on experience plus 23 days’ holiday ( + Bank Holidays), Life Assurance, Company Pension, Excellent Staff Discount and Christmas bonus. Product Designer, East Yorkshire, to £32k, V04297. Join the creative team at our client’s Northern Design Office designing fun and engaging products for the play and leisure industries across the UK, and internationally. Their products can be found in schools, public parks, swimming pools, soft play centres, theme parks, museums and more. You will be taking designs from initial concept through 3D development to production ready drawings and installation documentation. Using SolidWorks, you will be producing 3D assembly modelling, technical drawings, instruction creation and data management. This is a great opportunity to be part of a lively, and fast-paced environment, working on a broad range of projects for their own ranges and industry leading companies around the world.

The Product Designer will need strong software, sketching and visual communication skills as well as being a confident communicator. Kitchen Designer, West Midlands, c80k OTE, V04267. This family run business has established a solid and long-standing history within the independent kitchen marketplace over many years and due to natural growth and strong referrals they are seeking an experienced Kitchen Designer for their Solihull Showroom. They sell both high-end German kitchens and British In-frame kitchens and you will be handling their client’s design visions from initial contact through to completion. You will be working with a team of administrators for the ordering and scheduling, project managers and installers along with your fellow designers based among their various showrooms.

With a strong design and sales background within the independent kitchen marketplace you’ll be able to work to deadlines and targets. You’ll need a natural flair for design, presentation and customer service plus good IT skills and CAD literacy (they use Compusoft Winner and EQ). A full driving licence will be essential.

Basic salary is c£40,000 DOE plus pension, laptop, mobile phone, travel expenses and an excellent commission structure with an OTE of c£80,000.
