Location: Fradley Park, Lichfield

Immediate Starts

Join a leading logistics company based in Fradley Park! We're looking for reliable Class 1 drivers for nationwide deliveries, with minimal handball involved. Start times are available between 04:00 and 11:00

Job Details:
Nationwide delivery routes
No handball duties - focus on driving only
Shifts available Monday through Sunday
Various start times to fit your schedule
Day rate based on 12-hour shifts
Pay Rates:
Days: £17.31 per hour
Nights: £19.09 per hour
Paid Breaks
Requirements:
Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence
Must pass a paid 2-3 hour assessment
2 years experience

We’re currently recruiting Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for a well-established client in Lichfield — offering reliable, ongoing work with long-term potential!

🕐 Shift start times:
12:00 – 16:00
📦 The role:
• 1–4 store deliveries per day
• Some handballing of cages
• Clean, well-maintained vehicles
• Friendly and supportive team

💰 What you get:
• Minimum 10 hours paid per shift
• Overtime after 10 hours
• Daily shift allowance (depending on start time)

✅ What we need from you:
• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
• CPC & Tacho card (in date)
• No more than 6 points (no DD/IN codes)
• Happy with some manual handling

The Best Connection are recruiting on behalf of a leading Builders Merchants for a Route Planner to join their busy transport team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with logistics or transport planning experience to step into a fast-paced role where no two days are the same.
🔧 What you’ll be doing:
✅ Planning routes for HGV delivery vehicles
✅ Coordinating with drivers, yard staff & depot teams
✅ Managing delivery schedules & solving issues on the go
✅ Ensuring compliance with transport regulations
✅ Keeping operations running smoothly day-to-day
✅ What we’re looking for:
✔️ Experience in logistics / route planning
✔️ Strong knowledge of the West Midlands area
✔️ Great organisation and problem-solving skills
✔️ Confident communicator with a customer-focused approach
