Arrive early. It’s better to arrive too early than late. You can always find somewhere to pass some time before you go into the building. It’s a good idea to register at reception at least 10 minutes ahead of your scheduled interview time.

Can you tell the difference between 'there', 'their' and 'they're'? How about 'were', 'where' and 'we're'. The regularity with which these words are used in the wrong context is staggering – and this reflects very poorly on the person making the mistake. Set aside half an hour every day to learn the difference between commonly used words that sound similar. You'll be surprised at how quickly you improve.

The advantages of improving your written English are endless. Whether you are sending an email to a colleague at work or constructing a cover letter to supplement your CV, it is important that you can make your point in an articulate and concise manner.
