Overview
We are seeking a skilled FLT Driver (Reach) to join our warehouse team. This role involves operating reach forklifts to efficiently manage materials handling, shipping, and receiving processes within a fast-paced warehouse environment. Duties
Safely operate reach forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse
Manage stock levels by accurately stacking and retrieving pallets in high storage racks
Assist with shipping and receiving activities, ensuring correct documentation and inventory accuracy
Conduct routine equipment inspections and perform minor repairs or report maintenance issues promptly
Utilise warehouse management systems to track inventory movements and update records accordingly
Handle materials with care, ensuring proper stacking and organisation for safety and efficiency
Support with basic mechanical tasks related to equipment repair and maintenance when necessary
Perform basic maths calculations for inventory counts, measurements, and weight assessments
Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety standards
Experience
Previous experience operating reach forklifts in a warehouse setting is essential
Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is highly desirable
Proven ability to load & unload goods efficiently while maintaining safety protocols
Mechanical knowledge or experience with equipment repair is advantageous
Strong materials handling skills with the capacity for heavy lifting (up to 25kg or more)
Prior experience in shipping & receiving operations within a warehouse environment is preferred
Good organisational skills with attention to detail in inventory management
Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and recording data accurately
