Location: Burton-upon-Trent
Salary: £24,500 - £29,000 per annum + sleep-in allowance

Reports To: Team Leader / Deputy Manager / Registered Manager

⭐ About the Role

We are recruiting for a compassionate and dedicated Residential Support Worker to join the team at Burton-upon-Trent. You will play a vital role in supporting children and young people, helping them achieve positive outcomes while providing a safe, nurturing and stable home

environment.

✅ Key Responsibilities

* Build positive and trusting relationships with children and young people
* Support daily routines including education, health, leisure activities and emotional wellbeing
* Encourage positive behaviour through consistency, support and role modelling
* Assist with cooking, cleaning, personal care and independent living skills
* Maintain accurate records, reports and keyworker documentation
* Support care planning, risk assessments and review meetings
* Follow safeguarding procedures and promote the welfare of children at all times
* Use positive behaviour management and de-escalation techniques when required
* Attend training, team meetings and supervision sessions

Essential Requirements

* Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or willingness to achieve within 2 years
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Enhanced DBS clearance
* Passion for supporting children and young people

⭐ About the Role

We are recruiting for an experienced Team Leader to join a children's residential home in Burton-upon-Trent. You will lead and support a team of Residential Support Workers, ensuring children and young people receive safe, nurturing, high-quality care while maintaining compliance with Ofsted and Children's Home Regulations

✅ Key Responsibilities

* Lead, motivate and supervise staff on shift
* Conduct handovers, supervisions and support staff development
* Support care planning, risk assessments and key working sessions
* Promote safeguarding and maintain accurate records
* Assist with rotas, medication administration and health & safety
* Build positive relationships with young people, families and professionals
* Support admissions, referrals and transitions into the home
* Use therapeutic approaches and de-escalation techniques to manage behaviours positively

Essential Requirements

* Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
* Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle
* Enhanced DBS check
* Minimum 1-2 years' experience within residential childcare
* Good knowledge of safeguarding, care planning and Children's Home Regulations

About the Role
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Stores Person to join a well-established business based in Cradley Heath, Birmingham. This is a hands-on, physically active role that combines general warehouse and stores duties with approximately 1-2 hours of forklift truck operation each day.

The successful candidate will be reliable, hardworking, and able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Whilst previous experience is beneficial, it is not essential as attitude and willingness to learn are equally important.

✅ Key Responsibilities

* Carrying out general stores and warehouse duties
* Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently
* Loading, unloading, and moving stock around the warehouse
* Picking, packing, and preparing goods for dispatch
* Receiving and checking incoming deliveries
* Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
* Following all health and safety procedures at all times
* Assisting with manual handling tasks, including lifting items up to 20kg

️ What We're Looking For

* Valid RTITB Counterbalance Forklift Truck Licence (essential)
* Physically fit and comfortable carrying out manual handling duties
* Good level of spoken and written English
* Friendly, positive, and reliable attitude
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Previous warehouse or stores experience is advantageous but not essential

Experience within a car sales environment or similar would be highly advantageous.

The Customer Service Advisor must:

* Have previous Customer Service experience
* Be professional in appearance and nature
* Keyloop or Kerridge experience would be advantageous

Duties of Customer Service Advisor:

* Take ownership of the customer and their vehicle from point of sale throughout the product life
* Work under the instruction of the Service Centre Manager and Operations Manager
* Meet and greet all customers upon arrival
* Qualify the customer to achieve accurate diagnostic information
* Communicate with allied departments including the workshop
* Communicate and approve any additional work needed on vehicles
* Manage the logistics and parking of all vehicles on site
* Upsell allied products and services
* Continually update the CRM with accurate client details and vehicle histor

Hours of work for a Customer Service Advisor:

Full Time

Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM

Must work one out of three Saturdays, 9AM-1PM

Pay Rate for a Customer Service Advisor:

Full Time

Up to £27,000 per annum
