I am delighted to be recruiting for my Client based between Wakefield/Leeds for 2 experienced Transport Planners to join them with immediate effect.
Both positions are offered on a temporary-to-permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities
• Plan and review driver routes to maximise operational efficiency
• Manage daily transport schedules in line with the Working Time Directive and driving hours regulations
• Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and internal departments
• Monitor and manage driver workloads and performance
• Provide timely updates regarding delays, failed deliveries, or service issues
• Support the wider transport operation with administrative and planning tasks
• Use system-based planning tools to coordinate and optimise routes
Candidate Requirements
• Previous experience in a Transport Planner or similar logistics/planning role
• Load planning experience is desirable

You will place the components onto the frames, ensure that the items are securely in place, move them down the line to the next process, then remove the components from the clamps and package the items up ready for delivery to the Customers. This is a data-driven role where you will play a key part in improving operational efficiency through accurate reporting, analysis, and system management. You will work closely with warehouse and transport teams to turn data into actionable insights that support performance and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Provide administrative and operational support across warehouse functions

The position is available for someone who wishes to become a CNC Machinist and full training will be provided;
Duties
• You will become familiar with working to tight tolerances.
• Producing finished components to drawing specification from New and existing machine programs and adjusting off-sets during running control.
