🎨 Supporting Mooragh Park Shelter Art Project artist, Amy Bourbon 🎨

We're delighted to announce our sponsorship of local Fine Artist, Amy Bourbon, who is designing and painting a shelter mural as part of the Mooragh Park Shelter Art Project. This is a Ramsey Town Commissioners initiative to refurbish and transform the outdoor seating areas in the park.

Amy's design will be a celebration of what makes Ramsey special - it's beautiful coastline, the pier and harbour, the tram station, the Grove Museum, the Mooragh Park, swing bridge, Albert Tower, and the hidden walk down to Ramsey south beach. We're excited to see her final design unveiled - see Amy's photos below for a peek of her progress so far!

As a responsible business, the opportunity to support investment in a physical community space is important to us and we're thrilled to help enhance the Mooragh Park for residents and visitors alike.

You may remember Amy as one of the talented artists, sponsored by us, from the Hospice Big Splash dolphin trail several years ago, and we're delighted to support her in this new endeavour! Follow Amy on Instagram at for the latest updates on her mural progress.

πŸ”₯ Oie Voaldyn Accessible Platform sponsor news! πŸ”₯

Peel's popular May Fire Festival is back on Sunday 3 May with an exciting and packed day of celebrations of live music, local food and fun for all ages.

For the second year, we're delighted to support the Accessible Platform β€” a raised area exclusively for disabled spectators to sit, relax and enjoy the festivities with unobstructed views of the performances.

The Fire Festival is a free, family event bringing together people (and Vikings!) from across our local community and we're proud to be involved in helping to make the event accessible to all.

We hope everyone enjoys the day and evening entertainment, including torchlit processions, a sacred tree ritual and fiery battles between summer and winter β˜€οΈβ„οΈ

🧑 £1,000 donation to Cruse Bereavement Support Isle of Man 🫢

Emily Gaylor (Audit Manager) and Amanda Cafearo (HR Manager) were delighted to welcome Mary Doyle (CEO from Cruse Bereavement) to the office after we made a donation of Β£1,000 to support their services for bereaved children, young people and adults.

Every month, our team makes a donation from their salary which is pooled and donated on a quarterly basis to invaluable charities in our local community. Our people share suggestions of charities they would like to support which hold personal meaning to them and on this occasion, two staff members put Cruse Bereavement forward ✨

It was lovely to meet Mary and hear how our contributions will help people in need of a safe place to talk about their feelings following a bereavement. Thank you for visiting us!

Pictured are Emily Gaylor and Amanda Cafearo from PwC Isle of Man with Mary Doyle. The staff at the local professional services firm had raised Β£1,000 through their monthly charitable giving. A couple of the team had suggested money was raised for our charity. Mary thanked them saying how grateful the charity was for this wonderful donation. PwC Isle of Man πŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œ

We asked attendees at the Young Adult & Graduate Fair one simple question: What skills do you think are valued at PwC?

Almost 60 young professionals participated and the answers were overwhelmingly human:

πŸ—£οΈ Communication β€” the most frequently mentioned skill
🀝 Teamwork β€” because trust and collaboration matter
πŸ”₯ Resilience β€” the ability to recover, learn and keep going
🧠 Critical and analytical thinking β€” questioning, analysing and making sound judgements
⏰ Time management and organisation β€” taking ownership and delivering effectively
πŸ’‘ Adaptability β€” staying open and responsive to change
πŸ’ͺ Determination and hard work β€” the drive that sets people apart

AI can analyse data in seconds, draft, calculate, and predict, but human skills remain at the heart of great work.

Technology can enhance how we work, but it can't replace empathy, integrity, relationship building or the ability to support others through challenges.

At PwC, we’re tech-empowered but we look for people who bring human skills, character and want to make a difference.
