Oaklands Global is working with a leading engineering business in Derby that is looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer with a strong background in electrical system design, integration and systems engineering.

What we’re looking for:
• Strong experience in electrical system design and integration this is a systems-level role, not PCB or component design.
• Ability to produce and interpret wiring diagrams and electrical schematics.
• Experience working at system level within complex engineering environments.
• Strong understanding of electrical system architecture, including power, signals and interfaces.
• Experience integrating multiple electrical subsystems into a unified system.
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a systems-thinking approach.
• Experience working within structured engineering environments and established documentation standards.
• Background in Aerospace, Automotive/EV, Rail, Defence or another complex engineering environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to produce clear, accurate technical documentation.

We're Hiring | CAT A Engineer | Biggin Hill

Are you a UK CAA CAT A Licensed Engineer looking to take the next step in your aviation maintenance career?

We're working with a leading business aviation organisation in Biggin Hill that is looking to add a skilled CAT A Engineer to its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-quality aircraft in a fast-paced environment where safety, professionalism and technical excellence are at the heart of everything they do.

In this role you'll be involved in scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, supporting B1/B2 Engineers, maintaining accurate Part-145 records, and helping to ensure aircraft are returned to service safely and efficiently.

We're looking for:

✈️ UK CAA CAT A License
✈️ Experience on light jets (Citation experience is advantageous)
✈️ Strong attention to detail and a safety-first mindset
✈️ Eligibility to work in the UK
