🚛Assessment x 3 CLASS 1 HGV DRIVERS WANTED – SWDC 🚛

We're recruiting Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for SWDC, with assessment slots available at the end of July and ongoing work available for successful candidates.

💷 Pay Rates
Days: £21.44 per hour
Starts between 02:01 – 04:00: £22.48 per hour
Starts between 04:01 – 05:00: £21.99 per hour
Starts between 05:01 – 05:30: £21.71 per hour
Finishes between 20:00 – 21:39: £22.22 per hour
Finishes between 21:40 – 01:59: £23.09 per hour
3 hours worked between 23:00 – 05:00: £24.57 per hour

📅 Assessment Dates
Tuesday 28th July 2026 – 11:00 (2 slots available)
Wednesday 29th July 2026 – 05:00 (1 slot available)

✅ To Qualify You Must:
Hold your Class 1 (C+E) licence for at least 12 months
Have no more than 6 minor penalty points
Have no more than 6 infringements of the same type in the last 6 months, or 10 infringements in total over the last 12 months
Be able to complete a manual tachograph entry confidently (this forms part of the assessment)
Attend with:
Driving Licence
Driver CPC Card
Digital Tachograph Card
Safety Boots
Yellow Long Sleeve Hi-Vis Jacket

We're on the lookout for a Class 2 HGV Road Sweeper Driver to join a fantastic client near Chippenham. If you enjoy driving, working independently, and seeing the results of a good day's work, this could be the job for you.

No sweeper experience? No problem!
We'll provide a minimum of 5 days' paid training, so all you need is the right attitude and a Class 2 licence.

B&W Recruitment is looking for reliable and hardworking Class 2 LGV Drivers to join a busy waste and recycling collection team based in Calne.

This is an excellent opportunity for drivers who enjoy being active, working as part of a team, and providing an essential service to the local community.

The Role
Driving a Class 2 waste/recycling collection vehicle
Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks
Working alongside the collection crew to complete scheduled routes
Assisting with manual handling and waste collection where required
Providing a professional service when interacting with customers and the public
Requirements

✅ Full Category C (Class 2) Licence
✅ Valid Driver CPC
✅ Digital Tachograph Card
✅ Physically fit and happy with manual handling duties
✅ Reliable with a positive, team-focused attitude
✅ Good communication skills

A driving assessment forms part of the recruitment process.
