We’re recruiting on behalf of our client for a reliable and professional Class 1 (C+E) Driver based in Melksham. This is a permanent opportunity with a well-established operation offering stable work, good rates, and a supportive team.
Location: Portal Mill, Melksham
What’s the job?
Monday to Friday working pattern
Minimum 42-hour week
Variable start and finish times
Working any 5 days from 7
Occasional nights away
Weekend availability required from time to time
Regular London deliveries — good geographical knowledge is a must!

What do you need?
Valid C+E (Class 1) licence
Digital tachograph card
Driver CPC qualification card
No more than 6 points for minor offences
Good understanding of drivers’ hours & Working Time Directive
Drawbar experience preferred (but not essential)
Positive attitude and professional approach
Pay Rate: £17.48 per hour

🚚 ROYAL MAIL CLASS 1 DRIVERS – ASSESSMENTS ARE GO! 🚚

📍 Bristol SWDC – Severn Beach

We are now looking for experienced Class 1 drivers for Royal Mail assessments, with opportunities available ASAP!

💷 PAY RATES:

☀️ Days: £20.82 per hour
🕑 Starts between 02:01–04:00: £21.83 per hour
🕓 Starts between 04:01–05:00: £21.35 per hour
🕔 Starts between 05:01–05:30: £21.08 per hour
🌙 Finishes between 20:00–21:39: £21.57 per hour
🌙 Finishes between 21:40–01:59: £22.42 per hour
🌃 Hours worked between 23:00–05:00: £23.85 per hour

Think you've got what it takes? Here's what you'll need:

✅ Held your Class 1 licence for a minimum of 12 months
✅ Maximum of 6 minor points on your licence
✅ No more than 6 infringements of the same category in the last 6 months, or 10 infringements in total over a 12-month period
✅ Able to complete a manual entry without any issues – failure to do so will result in a failed assessment
✅ Have all 3 driver cards
✅ Safety boots
✅ A yellow long-sleeved Hi-Vis jacket

📋 You will also be required to complete a vetting pack and DBS check — there is no cost to the driver.

🚛 CLASS 2 CONCRETE MIXER DRIVER – BRISTOL 🚛

📍 Based in Knowle West, Bristol

We're looking for an experienced Class 2 Mixer Driver to join our team on an ongoing basis.

💷 £14.50 per hour for the first 10 hours
💰 £21.75 per hour after 10 hours (time and a half)
🎁 £100 monthly attendance bonus
🕖 07:00–17:00, Monday to Friday
📅 Every other Saturday

You'll be operating a concrete mixer, delivering to customer sites across the Bristol area. Reliability, good customer service and a strong work ethic are essential.

You'll need:

Full Class 2 (Cat C) licence
Valid CPC and Digi Tachograph card
Mixer experience preferred, but relevant Class 2 experience will be considered
Good knowledge of Bristol and surrounding areas
Reliable and professional approach
