Whitlebury Park are delighted to be recruiting for a Restaurant Manager. The venue is a 4 star conferencing, leisure, golf and spa Hotel based in Silverstone, Northamptonshire. We boast 254 bedrooms, conference facilities for up to 500, 34 meeting and syndicate rooms, 5 bars and a restaurant, leisure and spa facilities as well as two 18 hole championship golf courses.
Astons restaurant is the hotel main restaurant and is very busy, offering buffet breakfast and lunch and in the evening an A la Carte offering. The main purpose of the role is to manage the day-to-day restaurant operation, training, motivating and developing the restaurant service team to ensure an excellence in quality of service and a customer-focused culture. Leadership, staff management, motivation and excellent communication skills are vital for this role. .
In order to be considered, applicants must:
• Currently be at Restaurant management or senior supervisory level within a restaurant and have held this role in a progressive capacity for at least 1 year.
• Be an organised hands on manager that understands the importance of delegation and follow up with strict standards.
• Have a great front of house presence, be an accepted leader and lead from the front
• Have a good understanding of business operations.
• The ability to delegate and communicate under pressure in a high paced environment.
• Able to work with other managers within the department in a positive and constructive manner.
Salary: ÂŁ27,000 to ÂŁ29,000 depending on experience
