They are currently looking for a CNC Setter/Turner to join their already established team on a permanent basis. The successful applicant should be capable at setting, operating and programming lathes, with demonstrable experience of trouble shooting. In addition, they should have the ability to step up to section lead and so should be comfortable with some personnel responsibility

Purpose of the Role:

To set and operate CNC turning machines to produce high-quality precision components in line with engineering specifications, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and health & safety guidelines are consistently met. Act as a guide and mentor for less experienced members of the manufacturing team.

If so our client, a rapidly expanding clean energy business in Totnes, South Devon, is looking for an ambitious and proactive Lead Electrician to play a pivotal role in overseeing and delivering the electrical aspects of our commercial and residential installations. The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for setting the standard for our commercial electrical installations, although to begin with the role will be a mix of residential and commercial projects.

About you:

🔺 Experienced and expertise in installations in both residential and commercial settings
🔺 High degree of competency in inspection & testing and safe working practice
🔺 High level of knowledge of electrical codes, regulations Skilled at commissioning and fault finding EESS, commercial & residential
🔺 Able to interpret electrical blueprints and technical diagrams
🔺 Highly organised and able to manage multiple tasks effectively

Position requirements:

🔺 BS7671 18th Edition (Essential)
🔺 NVQ Level 3 (Essential)
🔺 EAL L3 Award in the Design, Installation, and Commissioning of Electrical 🔺 Energy Storage Systems or BPEC EESS Course (Essential)
🔺 2391 Test & Inspection (Essential)
🔺 3 year's experience of working on Solar PV Projects (Preferred)
🔺 JIB Gold Card (Essential)
🔺 Portfolio of previous work (Preferred)
🔺 Full clean UK driving license (Essential)
🔺 Knowledge of Open Solar Design Tool and procurement (Preferred)

Additional Information:

🔺Work hours: Monday - Friday, 8 am - 4.30 pm (40 hours per week), with occasional overtime and staying away (expenses paid plus nightly supplement).
🔺Job may involve travel throughout the Southwest and surrounding regions

A wonderful day yesterday networking at The Ness Shaldon.

It was so lovley to see everyone so festive and the support for the teignmouth food bank was amazing.
