Good evening, welcome to Issue 14, another exciting edition of Reflections of Thetford magazine.
This issue, we were very excited to get an exclusive interview with Chris Garrod, author of the recently published Jones’s Van ‘The Journey’, an interesting insight into the history of this iconic vehicle. We were extremely fortunate to capture a photograph of Chris, Stuart Wright (Director of Dads Army Museum Thetford), Jo Pearson (recently inaugurated as High Sheriff of Norfolk), and the van itself on Thetford Market, just in time for this publication.
Included in our pages is yet another exclusive: we were privileged to speak with Karen Connor, who recently sold Mulberry Thetford, and to meet the new owners.
By popular demand, Bob Blogg agreed to an interview to tell his story and why he is doing what he does .
There is a wonderful piece by David Griffiths on Thomas Paine, who is celebrating 250 years since writing his influential pamphlet ‘Common Sense’.
There are many more amazing stories in this edition, highlighting the rich culture and diversity of our town, and some of the great people doing great things in our little town of Thetford.
The magazine is by Thetford, for Thetford, and only Thetford.
Please enjoy!
