OPERATIONS SUPPORT MANAGER
Mildenhall
£39,000 - £42,000 per annum
Monday to Friday 40 hours per week
On behalf of our expanding client we are looking for an OPERATIONS SUPPORT MANAGER to join their friendly and successful Mildenhall team in a newly created role.
Your main role is to assist the Operations Manager in completing partner/customer related tasks, offering suggestions for improvements.
With full training the following items will form the basis of the job role:
• Internal Sales Cover - To provide cover for the current internal sales team in the event of absences.
• Tender Management - Initially to assist with the completion and submission of Tender Applications. Ultimately taking on full responsibility for all Tender requirements.
• Customer Liaison - To liaise between Customers, the Sales Department, Management and the Production Department to be a ‘Voice of the Customer’ negotiating lead times.
• Internal Sales Support - To assist with onsite Partner/Customer visits to Mildenhall, ensuring all the internal requirements are met to ensure such visits run smoothly and give a positive and lasting impression to the visitors.
• Exhibition Support - To assist and organise (and attend as required) Domestic and International Exhibitions, Product Training Courses and Product Demonstrations.
• Marketing Support - Produce new documents, photographs, videos etc., as required by Sales management and customers.
• Sales Management Support - Taking ownership of Partner reporting: projections / mid-year reports and compiled into formats as needed by Sales Director.
• Internal Marketing - Produce an interesting and Informative article for the company monthly magazine.
• Industry Liaison - Attending, as required (in person or electronically), industry events.
The successful candidate will be/have:
• A full and detailed understanding of the sales ordering process from receipt of RFI /RFQ to fulfilment.
• A high level of attention to detail (Essential)
• Excellent communication skills via written form and telephone.
• Adaptable and Organised, can prioritise their work load.
• A familiarity with desktop publishing (photography desirable) and the Microsoft Packages
( Word, Excell and Outlook mainly).
• A Confident and Appropriate manner to build relationships both internally with all levels of staff and external customers/clients.
• Able to Travel worldwide and UK (Essential).
