Our Client delivers a wide range of support to the prestigious Skynet contract providing secure satellite communication services to the UK Government and Armed Forces. We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Contract Administrator to join our team at SGS Oakhanger. This role will provide administration and business support to the Skynet contract and be an administrative point of contact for the customer on site.

Main responsibilities of the role include:
Organise, attend and minute various monthly and ad hoc meetings.
Assist with the purchasing of consumables for the contract.
Assist with contract recruitment and attend interviews.
Work as part of a small team to assist with the checking of the monthly payroll.
Responsible for the coordinating and ordering of the contract uniform requirements.
Safe, effective, and economic operation of the Business Administration area.
Develop and maintain internal and Shared Services stakeholder relationships.

What you’ll need to do the role:

Purpose and Scope:

To provide support in fulfilling our future resourcing requirements across all Business Units in the UK. Managing the end to end recruitment lifecycle to support high volume recruitment in a timely manner. This role will involve close collaboration with all Hiring Line Managers and the HR Team.

MPI have a requirement for a Security Guard to work in Almondbank, Perth on a 6 month fixed term contract.

Shift Pattern: 2 days, 2 nights, 4 off

Shift Hours: 12 hour shifts. 7am to 7pm and 7pm to 7am

Weekly Hours: Contractual hours are an average of 42 hours per week

This is a fixed term contract for approx 6 month and there may be an opportunity down the line, for the successful applicant to become permanent.

Purpose and Scope:

Responsible for providing an overt security presence to protect the site, its assets and employees from security and physical threats.
Key responsibilities and duties:

Responsible for carrying out all guarding duties to a high standard, and in accordance with the Almondbank Business Manual procedures.

Maintain familiarity with the relevant procedures of the Almondbank Business Manual referring any anomalies or required amendments to the Facilities Manager.

Carry out vehicle searches.

Control vehicle and pedestrian access to, and egress from, the site.

Issuing of passes. Writing reports on breaches of security or defects etc.

Operate and monitor security systems, CCTV and alarms.

Report safety hazards and accidents in accordance with current instructions.

To provide additional First Aid cover for the site, particularly out with normal working hours.

Prevention of fire. Liaise with emergency services in an emergency. Co-operate with other security providers.

Safeguard classified information and materials.

Operate and communicate effectively over telephone.

Issue and receipt of keys and ensuring their timely return.

Recording information on computerised and manual systems.

Lock up/open up of all buildings & carry out internal patrols.

To aid the business by taking receipt of parcels/packages from couriers after business hours.

Franking the business mail, and taking receipt of incoming mail.

During inclement weather carry out snow and clearance duties.

During silent hours carry out regular fence and external building patrols checking boiler status and plating shop conditions (min. 5 per shift).

To carry out other duties as required which are reasonable and compatible with this function.

Ensuring that continuation training is up to date and that packs are read and signed for.

MPI have a requirement for Semi Skilled Assemblers/ Labourers & Laminators to work on a contract basis for our Client based in Ruby who manufacture large generators.

Positions available are:

Semi-Skilled Insulators- this involves (taping up wires) etc, therefore dexterity is a must.

In addition we also have a requirement for Semi Skilled Laminators.

For the Laminator roles, applicants must be mechanically minded as will be laying lamination round a ring, consolidating and then tapping back with hammer.

Working double day shift pattern, however there is some flexibility on working patterns.

afternoons 2-10.00pm - Mon-Fri (maybe Sat mornings and Sun all day)

early shift 6-2.00PM. Overtime the same.
