Mainline Employment are currently recruiting for a Part Time, Transport Administrator.
The purpose of this role is to provide administrative support to our client, who specialise in the distribution and collection of palletised freight for both public and business customers.
The successful candidate will be responsible for but not limited to;
- Load the system with collections and assign to appropriate drivers.
- Contact customers to agree delivery dates and times.
- Liaise with Customers and other depots re: their deliveries progress.
- Manage/troubleshoot problems e.g. driver issues at delivery/collection points and
other depots progressing delivery of their own freight.
- Receive driver delivery notes for checking and uploading to the system.
- The labelling of customer freight prior to being loaded onto the night trunk vehicle.
- Scan the loaded night trunk vehicle and download the scan into the system.
- Print the trunk delivery notes.
Hours: 13:00 to 18:00 (Monday to Friday)
A degree of flexibility will be required with occasional hours worked past 1800hrs being taken by starting later on the subsequent day(s).
Pay Rate: £9.25 per hour
