You will be providing excellent proactive phone-based account management to medium to large customers with the ultimate aim of growing the volume and value of customers through commercial awareness, sales acumen and customer service excellence.

Some customers will be high value and this role represents the second level of customer account management with FLEETCOR UK issuing business. Therefore, exceptional relational skills and maintaining a profitable customer portfolio, whilst adding value for both the customer and FLEETCOR is a key part of this role.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Be the primary senior point of contact (proactive and reactive) for your customer portfolio to maintain and grow current revenue streams from each customer through effective commercial and negotiation skills, as well as gaining customer intelligence to retain and grow the portfolio

• Targets for volume retention & growth, revenue maintenance & growth and upsell of new products into existing customers will be a fundamental element of the role

• Ensure regular, detailed, value-added and proactive account management to all customers in the allocated portfolio, identifying commercially viable options for increased volume

• Conduct regular reviews via the telephone with each customer to reinforce the value of FLEETCOR proposition and ensure compliance by both parties with contractual terms

• Focus on swift delivery for customers in terms of issue resolution, information provision with clearly defined actions that are delivered to meet customers’ requirements, whilst also identifying root cause analysis on all issues

• Build and develop professional relationships with peers, colleagues and third parties and lead relationships with key stakeholders (internally and externally) in order to deliver and exceed specific customer requirements

• Ensure that relationships with multiple and key decision-makers are developed to support the customers and FLEETCOR’s objectives

• Provide the Head of Customer Retention with internal support, as required on ad-hoc activities or key business initiatives

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

Good customer management experience, particularly in working with large and complex customer organisations
Exceptional relational skills with the ability to influence customer decisions persuasively using telephone and email communications
Self-motivated, proactive and disciplined, with good time management skills to ensure customers are professionally and efficiently managed in line with the customer service charter
Focus on delivering results (Productivity, revenue and volume targets) with sound commercial awareness
Strong understanding of financial and commercial drivers and impact of service provision to deliver them
Maintain up to date knowledge of industry and technology developments and involvement in networking opportunities
Work in collaboration with the Account Managers – Key Accounts should a field visit be required as appropriate

To manage the revenue performance of Fleetcor UK Fuel businesses, providing thought leadership for identifying potential revenue improvement opportunities and implementing changes to increase revenue outcome.

Ensuring accurate and timely performance reporting, generating monthly revenue insights, and being able to interpret data accordingly, are part of the day to day activities of the role.

Some of what you will be doing:

Managing the revenue outcomes of Fleetcor UK Fuel business.
Lead revenue analyst to perform revenue variance analysis, prepare revenue and volume forecast and budget.
Manage, create and maintain customer pricing, including pricing promotions for digital, inside sales and large accounts pricing decisions.
Overseeing revenue ideas generation and implementation, responsible for implementing various initiatives to improve revenue performance.
Performing various ad hoc analysis to support business needs and corporate reporting requirements, also responsible for strategic planning & forecasting.
Collaborate with all other departments of the businesses and support strategic initiatives and projects implementation.
To be successful:

Excellent MS Excel skills
5+ years experience in financial/commercial analysis
Experience in data reporting and SQL writing is a plus
Ability to communicate and present to leadership team effectively
Must be results-driven, able to deliver accurate and quality results within a limited time window
Understand the commercial metrics that drive the business performance
