Our ‘Net Zero’ goal by 2025 is well underway so we thought we’d tell you a little bit more about our mission 🌳

As some of you may know, we are proud to partner with Stump Up For Trees - A Welsh Charity on a mission to plant 1 MILLION trees in South Wales!

As a business we have made huge commitments to the Welsh Government in terms of our overall business impact on the environment, our core sustainability values, and our Net Zero target for 2025.

We are beyond proud of this partnership with Stump Up For Trees as it considerably accelerates our sustainability journey 💪

We couldn’t be prouder of our "People & Planet First" values and this is another example of clear proof that our actions speak louder than words!

Since partnering with Stump Up For Trees, we’ve planted over 100+ trees!

Ongoing, we pledge to make quarterly donations which will be based on the number of candidates we place.

So, it’s nice and simple…

Your headline is your first chance to grab attention. Instead of just stating your job title, add a value proposition or highlight your expertise. Make it compelling, relevant and personable to you!

Profiles with pictures are 14x more likely to be viewed than those without. Choose a picture that is professional but still reflects your personality, it makes you more approachable and likable!

Anyway, let’s talk about the basics of how you should prepare for a technical interview!

Preparing for a tech role interview requires a combination of technical knowledge, problem solving skills and effective communication. Here are some things you can do to prepare ⬇️

👉🏼Research the company

Make sure you have a strong understanding of the company products, their ethos, mission and culture. This will help you articulate your answers in a way that relates to the business and what they are looking for.

Tip: don’t reel off stats about the company without linking it back to a broader point about yourself

👉🏼 Review the job description

Go over the job description carefully to identify programming languages, frameworks and technical skills - if you’re working with a recruiter, they probably would have already gone through this with you! Brush up your knowledge and skills related to those areas so you can answer any questions with confidence.

Tip: go through the job spec and your CV side by side and highlight your transferable experience related to specific skills they are looking for!

👉🏼 Review industry trends and technical concepts

Refresh your knowledge of core concepts that relate to your role and be mindful of any updates going on in the industry. The tech world is ever-evolving, so go over things you haven’t used in a while and note down any memorable changes!
