Recruiting for - Young Person's Support Worker
** ESSENTIAL - NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care/Young People or equivalent **

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Support Worker to work 1-2-1 with a young person living in their own accommodation in Bristol, delivering the highest standard of 1-2-1 support (aged 16-18 years).
The service supports clients that require 24-hour independent living support. You will work from 8am to 11pm (plus a sleepin).
This role will suit support workers looking for both part-time and full-time work.
A minimum of one shift per week is required.
As a support worker for children and young people you will be responsible for their physical and mental wellbeing, whilst having an understanding and non-judgemental attitude.
Your duties will include:
* Promoting and encouraging independent living
* Supporting and encouraging the young person to engage with employers, education, and training
* Support and help to develop the young person’s self-esteem and sense of worth.
The ideal candidate will:
* Have Level 2 NVQ qualification in either Health and Social Care/Young People or equivalent.
* Have at least 6 months paid experience in a childrens/young people support worker role
* Have excellent communication skills – written and verbal
* Be motivated, flexible, and reliable
* A current DBS or happy to undertake a new one
