Wow what a day yesterday at the OGV Taproom for Superior Recruitment Group's Aberdeen HR Huddle in collaboration with Blackadders

We nearly ran out of seats which says it all! Great breakfast provided by Doorsteps Catering Company at short notice!

Close to 50 attendees in a packed room with 6 superb speakers.

Thank you so much to Austin McKenzie, PLY from Electra Learning, Gillian Donald and Blair Duncan from Blackadders. Austin spoke in depth around people becoming managers merely due to longevity in the role, not necessarily having the skills to be good managers and the failure stats are not surprising! "Ant & Dec" gave us yet more scary details around AI being used in Grievances when dealing with people exiting your businesses.

Superior Recruitment Group need an experienced Drilling Supervisor/Superintendent to run 12 offshore competency assessments for a group of supervisors working on jack-up rigs working in Gabon.

This would be a short-term, temporary assignment – likely 2x rotations, for 3weeks each, working across 3 rigs offshore Gabon.

Type of candidate am looking for:
* Extensive offshore (and onshore) drilling experience with jack-ups
has previously been either a senior supervisor and/or superintendent
* Fluent English speaker (French speaking highly beneficial but not essential)
* If candidate(s) speak Spanish, we may extend the duration of work to include a single rotation to Colombia

⚙️ Mechanical Technician - Dates = 12/06 to 03/07
PAYE only - £418.41 base + £50.55 holiday pay = £468.96

🌊 Production Technician - Dates = 17/06 to 07/07
PAYE only - PAYE £418.41 base + £50.55 hols = £468.96

⚡ GWO Electrical Technician - LTD Company:
Mob 22/06 - Dayshift work - 2 week Trip
Work will be based in Germany - Travel and Accommodation is provided.

Requirements:
GWO BST (Basic Safety Training) covering 5 modules & GWO BTT (Basic Technical Training) most if not all the below 5 modules - Bolt Tightening module compulsory!
8 to 12 weeks work
2 on 2 off rotation
Must have - In-date Offshore Medical & Chester Step test
All Techs must also have Offshore Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) Tower/Tower bolting experience (Tightening and Testing)
