A General Operative is required for this successful, well established Stratford upon Avon company.

The salary is up to £24k, depending on level of experience and skillset.

This is a hands-on practical role that will involve some workshop assembly duties as well as some deployment around the UK and very occasionally in Europe. The work will involve working away from home occasionally for a few nights, as well as some weekends.

The successful candidate will have a broad and practical knowledge of working with materials and tools and a willingness to undertake work of a physical nature both indoors and out.

General

Assemble structures and internal builds ensuring high standards are maintained.
Ensure that the correct equipment is used and appropriately maintained.
Report any faulty equipment and issues to your line manager.
Assist as required in all departments of the business as directed.
If driving, fill out the daily mileage log and vehicle checks and report any faults to the transport manager.
Ensure that the companies’ vehicles are kept clean and tools are stored correctly.
Help with ongoing repairs, maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
Assist with keeping the yard and workshop clean and tidy.
Health & Safety

To work in a safe manner.
Always use the PPE provided and adhere to all site, yard and workshop rules.
Only use tools and plant as directed and that you have been trained to use.
Requirements

Full clean driving licence. (Min age 21 due to insurance)
Forklift licence if possible (not essential).
Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and work well within a team.
Ability to work across other departments as and when required.
Organised and practical.
Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK without restriction.

Drive the company van to other locations throughout the UK to install the visitor pods
Undertake assembly and installation of event and exhibition structures in due course

An enthusiastic and pleasant manner

A super opportunity has arisen for an experienced Events Project Manager to work for this well-established, successful and very friendly events and exhibition company based in Stratford upon Avon. Salary to £28k, dep on experience and skillset.

The Project Manager will oversee all the aspects of a project or client's requirements from handover to completion, from exhibition trailer roadshows programmes to indoor and outdoor exhibition stand builds.

Responsibilities of the Project Manager:-

•To liaise directly with clients on their given projects and be expected to attend sites as required to provide support to operational teams and to handover jobs to clients.
•Budgetary control on events.
•Sub-contractor and labour management on projects.
•Involvement with projects from their inception to completion; meeting clients, finding solutions to fit their needs and budgets, in collaboration with senior management.
•Health and Safety – a working knowledge of industry Health and Safety best practice is required. Responsibility for this on allocated projects rests with the Project Manager.
•Liaison with other event suppliers to assess their needs.
Training will be provided to ensure the successful Project Manager is equipped to cost jobs.

After initial supervision, full project responsibility will be required.

The successful PM will have:-

•Previous experience or knowledge of the exhibition/events sector.
•Strong organisation skills, attention to detail, ability to multitask and the confidence to make decisions.
•Excellent communication and leadership skills.
•This is a hands-on role requiring both on site and office work.
•Must be computer literate with experience of Word, Excel and Power Point
•Must be comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously.
•Good numeracy and literacy are vital
•Marketing and social media experience is desirable.
•A full driving licence is required. (candidates must be aged over 21 years for insurance purposes)

Midlands based with frequent UK and occasional European work.
Occasional stays way from base should be expected as well as some weekend work.

• Using a jet wash.

The ideal candidate will have:-

• Previous cleaning experience, with proven references.
• Ability to work outside in all weathers and all times of the year.
• A pleasant, and hardworking attitude.
• Ability to work shifts based on a 40-hour week.
• Eligible to live and work in the UK without restriction.
• Good English language skills and excellent understanding as a minimum.
• Physically healthy and capable of working in a production site environment involving stairs.
