📍 Average: Around 20 deliveries/collections per day

📅 Working pattern: Monday to Friday

🔹 Loads are secured using internal straps
🔹 No handballing involved

Pertemps are currently recruiting Class 2 Drivers to join the team at one of their clients busy Stoke-on-Trent depots, delivering food and grocery products to stores across the Midlands and North of England.

⭐ ONGOING WORK | REGULAR SHIFTS | GREAT PAY RATES ⭐

💷 PAY RATES

💰 Days: £17.89 per hour
🌙 Nights: £19.98 per hour
📅 Weekends: £20.05 per hour
⏰ Overtime after 48 hours: Up to £27.46 per hour

✅ PAYE rates
✅ Holiday pay accrued separately
✅ Ongoing temporary work
✅ Shifts booked approximately one week in advance

🚚 THE ROLE

You will be delivering fresh, ambient and frozen food products to Nisa and Co-op stores.

🔹 Deliveries made using cages
🔹 Tail lifts provided for easy unloading
🔹 Around 6–8 drops per shift, depending on the route and load
🔹 Typical shifts are 10–13 hours
🔹 Various start times and shift patterns available
🔹 Monday to Saturday working
🔹 Clean, modern and well-maintained vehicles
🔹 Full induction and training provided

✔️ Valid HGV Class 2 (C) licence

Transport FLM – Stoke-on-Trent

We are currently recruiting for a Transport First Line Manager (FLM) to join a busy timber company based in Stoke-on-Trent on a 2–3 month temporary basis.

Working Monday to Friday, 10:00am–6:00pm, you will support the Transport Manager and Transport Planning team with the day-to-day running of the transport operation.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting the Transport Manager and Transport Planners
• Helping to coordinate the daily transport operation
• Managing and supporting a team of HGV Class 1 drivers
• Dealing with any day-to-day driver or operational issues
• Ensuring deliveries and transport schedules run smoothly
• Assisting with general transport administration and compliance

The ideal candidate will have previous experience within a transport/FLM or supervisory role, be confident managing drivers and have a good understanding of day-to-day transport operations.
