I am looking for a Business Systems Analyst who is required to provide technical and operational ownership of the clients commercial estimation and productivity system, taking full responsibility for successful development, maintenance and support activities. The clients commercial estimation and productivity management platform is brand new and is currently being rolled out across the business and as such, the capability to engage with and understand all of the clients associated business systems and their functionality is imperative. Within this role, alongside business as usual ownership, the successful candidate would operate in a solution expert capacity, supporting the rollout process
The Successful Business Systems Analyst will be a pro-active, committed and enthusiastic team member, with a passion for problem solving. In addition, they will possess the ability to allocate tasks among team members and supervise, assist and monitor task progress, both with internal and external organisational stakeholders.
The Business Systems Analyst should work co-operatively with the wider organisational stakeholder group both internally and externally to ensure smooth solution development, rollout, maintenance and support.
Responsibilities:
Provide Health and Safety leadership by example
Attainment of intimate knowledge of the clients commercial estimation and productivity business system.
Attainment of in-depth understanding of the clients wider commercial management business system infrastructure.
Management of system maintenance and technical support throughout the organisation.
Management of system development from definition to functional delivery.
Identification of system improvement opportunities and variations.
Maintain and improve system functionality and integrity through third party liaison with external software development partner.
Ensure system infrastructure reliability through third party liaison with internal Global IT infrastructure team.
Support business system rollout process across the clients portfolio from specification to implementation.
Assisting with systems integrations between complimentary business systems to improve performance and increase efficiency.
Managing ticketed query system and ensuring comprehensive database of queries and resolutions is up to date.
Assisting with the production and maintenance of technical and functional system documentation suite.
Assisting with the development of a customised training programme for delivery throughout the business.
Delivery of system functionality training.
Provision of planning support to system implementation teams.
Preparation and adherence to maintenance plans and upgrade schedules in consultation with wider stakeholder groups.
Development and ex*****on of reporting system, suitable for all levels of the organisation.
Provision of sales support when required.
Requirements:

Possessing specialist knowledge of IT systems.
Possessing specialist knowledge of business systems (SAP or equivalent), applications and software.
Ability to explain complex ideas to those with limited systems and IT knowledge.
Previous business system support and/or analyst roles within medium or large businesses.
Knowledge of core commercial management principles (Estimation, Reporting etc.).
Working knowledge of project management methods.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent time management and organisational skills.
Listening ability and patience.
Excellent relationship management experience.
Experience:
A minimum 5 years’ experience of developing and supporting key business systems.
The following experience is essential:
• Detailed experience of the full project life cycle from system specification through development, implementation, testing and support.
• A good appreciation of commercial principles and project management methods.
Experience of some or all of the following is desirable:
• SAP
• Mobile Applications
• MS SQL Database
• Dashboard Reporting Technology (e.g. PowerBI)
The position is a full time staff position. Working hours can be split between home and office in Warrington.
