🎉🎂 Birthday celebrations in the County Teachers office today! 🎂🎉

It's not quite James' birthday yet (that's at the weekend!), but as we're not all in tomorrow, we decided to start the celebrations early with a lovely lunch, plenty of treats and of course, lots of laughs! 🥳🍰

James, thank you for everything you do for County Teachers. ❤️ You are so much more than just a colleague and we really do appreciate all your hard work, dedication and, most importantly, your ability to keep us laughing even on the toughest of days!

You have even battled through a horrid cold this week and still turned up every day, fighting on with a smile on your face (and probably a very large cup of tea! ☕😂).

☕️ Happy National Coffee Day! ☕️

If there is one thing that keeps an education recruitment office running alongside early morning calls, last-minute bookings and the general chaos of supply… it’s COFFEE! 😂

And we definitely all have our favourites at County Teachers…

☕ James – keeps it classic with a simple latte. No fuss needed!

🍁 Chloe – a Maple Pecan Oat Latte from Starbucks is the current favourite… but as soon as Christmas arrives, it’s Toffee Nut Latte season 🎄☕ (and yes, the countdown is already on!)

🧊 Morgan – an Iced Caramel Latte… apparently regardless of what the British weather is doing! 😂

With the 5:30am starts, busy school mornings and endless phone calls, we are not sure County Teachers would function quite as well without caffeine!

Today we are celebrating a pretty amazing milestone… James Campbell has officially been part of County Teachers for 23 years! 💚

He started out all those years ago on our Primary desk, before eventually making the move over to Secondary and after 23 years in education recruitment, it is safe to say there probably is not much he hasn’t seen! 😂

Schools have changed, recruitment has changed, technology has definitely changed… but a few things have not:

☕ James still drinks the biggest cups of tea and coffee known to mankind.

😂 He still manages to make us laugh every single day.

📞 He’s still there through the early mornings, late finishes and general chaos that comes with recruitment.

🤧 And somehow, in 23 YEARS, he has NEVER had a day off sick! We’re genuinely not sure whether he’s human at this point.

Recruitment is not always an easy job. There are long days, stressful days and plenty of juggling - especially when you have a family and life outside of the office too. But James turns up, gets on with it and is nearly always smiling (usually with an enormous mug in his hand!).

After 23 years, James is far more than an employee. He is a huge part of County Teachers, our history and our family, and his loyalty and dedication to the company genuinely mean so much to us.

We are incredibly lucky to have had him along for the ride for all these years.

So here is to year 24, James! 🥂💚

Although after 23 years without a sick day, you have set yourself a slightly ridiculous standard to maintain now… 😂

🎉 One year of growth, confidence & becoming a recruitment consultant! 🎉

It is hard to believe that our lovely apprentice has now been with County Teachers for a whole year and what a year it has been! 💚

As she gets ready to come towards the end of her apprenticeship with Juice, we could not be prouder of how far she has come.

Starting out as a trainee recruitment consultant, there has been A LOT to learn... from understanding the world of education recruitment, building relationships with schools and candidates, picking up the phone with confidence, and of course… getting her head around compliance! 😂 (which is no easy task!)

But she has taken every challenge in her stride, grown hugely in confidence and continues to learn and develop every single day. Watching her go from where she started to the confident consultant she is becoming has been brilliant!

She also makes us laugh daily, keeps us entertained and has very quickly become such an important part of our little County Teachers team. 💚

We are so grateful to have you with us and can not wait to see what the next chapter brings...

Here is to the final stretch of your apprenticeship and everything that comes next! 🥂✨

🎒✨ 1st September… and just like that, it’s back to school! ✨🎒

For many of our wonderful teachers and support staff, today marks the start of a brand-new school year and we want to wish you all the very best for the term ahead! 🍎📚

After the summer holidays, it’s time for early starts, busy classrooms, new faces, new timetables and, of course, plenty of coffee! ☕😅

Whether you are starting a new long-term role, returning to a school you know and love, or heading out for your first day of supply, we hope you have a fantastic first day and a brilliant Autumn Term. 💚
