We have plenty of long-term contract opportunities across Europe for Licensed and Unlicensed Engineers. These are base maintenance roles on modern widebody and narrowbody fleets, with travel and accommodation taken care of so you can focus on the work.

Our line maintenance team at East Midlands Airport recently carried out a transit check on a OneAir 777F. Exterior walkaround, interior checks, any defects found and fixed, and the aircraft released back to service on schedule.

It's quick, focused work, and it's what keeps freight moving.

Mechanical Technician / Fitter - Inflatables | Permanent | Stansted, Essex 🇬🇧
🕗 Mon-Thu 8am-4.30pm, Fri 8am-4pm | 9 day fortnight available

Aeropeople have partnered with a global designer and manufacturer of electronic instruments and electromechanical devices, established over 60 years with 21,000+ employees across 35 countries. They're a recognised third-party MRO provider to commercial, regional, general aviation, military, helicopter and business jet customers, and they're now hiring a permanent Fitter - Inflatables to join a small, skilled team on site in Stansted.

What you'll be doing:
🔹 Disassembling, testing, fault finding and repairing aircraft safety equipment including slides, rafts and their sub components
🔹 Reassembling and packing equipment in line with CMMs, OHMs and OEM packing instructions

What they're looking for:
🔹 GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English
🔹 OEM training in safety equipment maintenance and overhaul, plus experience repairing and packing aircraft safety equipment (highly desirable)
🔹 Engineering or workshop background with experience following detailed compliance manuals
🔹 Strong attention to detail, organisation and teamwork

OneAir's newest Boeing 777F, G-ONEG, touched down at East Midlands Airport and our Line Maintenance Team was ready.

Inbound from Sary-Arka Airport, Karaganda, Kazakhstan (KGF), the aircraft needed a check most would never think about: lubricating the main landing gear bogie pivot points. KGF's reinforced concrete runway increases vibration at these pivot points, which can work grease loose from the joint. It's a step that only applies on a Transit check when the departure runway is SWR Level 2.

While G-ONEG was with us, our team also completed the 24 and 48 hour checks ahead of departure, keeping the aircraft on schedule and airworthy.

It's this level of detail that keeps aircraft moving safely, station after station.
