Another promotion to celebrate, and this time we're heading North!

We're incredibly proud to share that Hayley Gauton has been promoted to Senior Recruitment Consultant in our Sheffield team.

Since joining the team just over two and a half years ago, Hayley has built a successful white collar freelance desk, developing strong relationships with both clients and candidates.

This is our second promotion so far this month, and another brilliant example of women progressing and building successful careers within construction recruitment.

On Friday 5th June, we held our PSR Solutions Annual Conference and Awards Evening at Rookery Hall Hotel & Spa.

A brilliant evening bringing our people together to reflect on the journey so far, celebrate success and look ahead to what we’re building next.

A huge part of the event was focused on what matters most to us: our people. From progression and loyalty to individual and team achievements, it was brilliant to recognise the people who continue to make PSR what it is.

We are unashamedly proud of celebrating our people, and over the next week we’ll be highlighting more of our winners from the night including promotions, long service recognition and top billers.

And the sun came out for our PSR padel tournament yesterday! 🎾☀️

A brilliant afternoon of padel, networking and a few competitive games in the sunshine.

There could only be one winner… congratulations to Luke Harrison from Winvic Construction Ltd! 🏆

A big shoutout to John Berks from PSR, who came in 2nd.

Checking in with people can genuinely save lives.

Our team joined Simon Mayo from Andy’s Man Club this week for an eye opening, hard hitting and incredibly useful talk around men’s mental health.

The message was simple but powerful:

It’s okay to talk.

A few points that really stayed with us:

• Su***de remains the biggest killer of men under 54 in the UK
• 12 men lose their lives every day
• Every su***de impacts around 135 people
• Sometimes, simply talking to somebody can change the outcome entirely

What stood out was the simplicity of the approach:

No booking needed. No referrals. No cost.

Last Monday, 6500 people attended an Andy’s Man Club group.

Andy’s Man Club now has over 350 locations nationwide, with groups running every Monday at 7pm, excluding bank holidays.

If this post helps raise even a little more awareness of this fantastic group, then that can only be a good thing.
