HGV RORO Hook Lift Driver
Location: Boston, Lincolnshire
Salary: Competitive, 45 hrs per week Monday to Friday 9 hours a day (paid breaks) £14.58 per hour. Alternate Saturdays 4.5 hrs.
Job Type: Full-Time (Temp to Perm) Daily start time 06:00 – 07:00 hrs
About the Role
Phoenix Drivers Limited are a 26-year experienced Driving Agency and we are acting on behalf of our client. We are seeking a reliable and experienced HGV RORO Hook Lift Driver to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe collection, transportation, delivery, and exchange of roll-on/roll-off containers using hook lift vehicles across customer sites.
This is an excellent opportunity for a professional driver who enjoys a varied role and takes pride in delivering exceptional service while maintaining the highest safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Operate RORO hook lift vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Collect, transport, exchange, and deliver containers to customer locations.
• Carry out daily vehicle inspections and complete defect reports.
• Ensure loads are secured and transported in accordance with transport regulations.
• Maintain accurate delivery and collection documentation.
• Communicate professionally with customers and site personnel.
• Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies.
• Keep vehicles clean and presentable.
Requirements
Essential
• Valid minimum HGV Class 2 or above (Category C) licence. 12 months experience
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Experience operating RORO hook lift vehicles or similar heavy equipment preferred but training can be given.
• Good understanding of road, transport, and health and safety regulations.
• Excellent time management and communication skills.
Desirable
• Experience within the waste management, recycling, construction, or aggregates sector.

Lorry Drivers (C+E) Class 1

We have been requested by one of our Blue Chip Clients based on West Marsh Road!!!!!, for eight, yes 8, experienced flexible Class 1 Drivers to cover various shifts for weekday and weekend driving assignments. Mainly day runs.

Immediate start once the paid assessment has been passed. Must have an in date CPC and Digi Card. Minimum 12 months of C+E Class 1 Driving experience. These jobs are long term positions and are open to PAYE pay status personnel only.

Excellent knowledge of WTD and Drivers hours
RDC Deliveries and collection nationwide
Fridge work

PAY rates £15.22 - £19.73 per hour (minimum 10 hour shift paid) plus weekly attendance bonus.
