Registered Manager.
Job overview.
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to oversee the operations of our care agency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in senior care, particularly in managing a team of carers. This role requires a compassionate leader who can develop and implement effective care plans, supervise staff, and ensure high standards of dementia care and medication administration as well as supported care.
Responsibilities
Manage the daily operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Develop and implement individualised care plans tailored to the needs of the individual service users.
Supervise and support staff members, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
Ensure that all medication administration is conducted safely and in accordance with best practices.
Maintain accurate records of care and staff performance.
Conduct regular assessments of needs and adjust care plans as necessary.
Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to provide holistic support for service users.
Promote a culture of dignity, respect, and compassion with all concerned.
Skills:
Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
Strong understanding of dementia care principles and practices.
Experience in developing and implementing care plans for service users.
Knowledge of medication administration protocols within a home setting.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to supervise staff while promoting professional development opportunities. Not to ask of anything that you wouldn’t do yourself.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in maintaining service users records.
A compassionate approach to senior care, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards your team and the service user needs.
Requirements:
Must speak English language precise and clearly.
Must have a British driving licence – (will not accept international licence)
Your own car.
Computer literate. Excel. Microsoft. Logging on system.
Smart office attire.
Good time keeping.
Flexibility to turn your hand to any challenge along side your team.
