Employee of the Month for April – Richmond Asiaw 👷‍♂️

We are delighted to announce our second 'Employee of the Month' award winner for April ✨

Our latest UK awardee, Richmond, works as a general operative at the Barratt London - Sterling Place residential development in New Malden.

His ability to work on his own initiative, while being flexible and approachable, make Richmond a popular addition to any construction site.

Speaking about Richmond's impact at the Sterling Place site after presenting him with his award, our Commercial Manager, Ciaran Diver had this to say;

"We are pleased to nominate Richmond for Employee of the Month, in recognition of his consistently high standards and proactive approach on site.

He is a highly hands on individual who demonstrates excellent awareness and problem solving ability on a day-to-day basis.

He works exceptionally well with management, maintaining clear communication and a positive approach.

Richmond has most recently been working here at Barratt's Sterling Place for 3D and he is a great representation of what we thrive to deliver on site."

The 2026 GAA Championship is well under way, complete with shocks, controversies and big scorelines 🏐

The month of May brings with it the four Provincial Finals, along with the first rounds of the All-Ireland Senior Football and Tailteann Cup Competitions 🌤️

This weekend sees Roscommon GAA and Galway GAA face off at the Hyde, while in Munster, Kerry GAA and Cork GAA battle it out in Killarney.

The following weekend will have Dublin GAA back in Croke Park to face Mark McHugh's rejuvenated Westmeath GAA, while Monaghan's expertise with last second conversions earns them a tilt at Armagh GAA in the Ulster GAA Final in Clones ⏱️

And what about some of the teams dispatched early in their provinces!
Who won't want eyes on the clash of (2025 All Ireland | 2026 Allianz League finalists) Kerry GAA and Donegal GAA in Killarney? Other old rivalries include Cork GAA v Meath GAA | Armagh GAA v Derry GAA | Monaghan GAA v Mayo GAA

The Tailteann Cup also kicks off this weekend and apart from Down, who might lack some motivation after their highs and lows in Ulster, everyone else will fancy their chances of making an impact in the secondary National competition.

A team going all out to make a mark this year in the Tailteann are London GAA, following an interesting league campaign, where they enjoyed 3 wins and a draw and narrowly missed out on promotion.

Leaving nothing to chance in terms of preparation, the London squad recently completed a training camp at Browns Sports Resort, Vilamoura 😎

Part of the group in the Algarve were our 3D colleagues, Shay Rafter, Daniel Clarke, Nathan Mc Elwaine, Ciaran Diver, Ciaran Gaughan along with coach Michael Boyle and kit-man Stevie Collins.

Both Ciaran Gaughan (Pavehall Plc) and Stevie Collins (McLaren Construction Group) are operatives working on site for 3D Personnel 🏗️

We'd like to wish them and their team mates all the best as they travel to Fraher Field to play CLG Port Lairge - Waterford GAA on Sunday (2pm) ✈️

Good luck to Shay, Daniel, Ciaran, Nathan, Michael and the rest of the London GAA team and management for Championship 2026 🏐

With a fuel crisis, global uncertainty and a pretty mixed spring weather wise, has the launch of the GAA Football Championship ever been more welcome?

Over the coming months the top teams will compete for the honour of lifting the Sam Maguire on the 26th of July in Croke Park 🏐

Will any county have what it takes to dethrone the current Champions Kerry GAA? Will their recent Allianz League Final defeat to Official Donegal GAA have any impact come July? Who might be the dark horses this summer? All questions to be answered over the coming weeks and months 📆

This weekend sees a momentous clash in the preliminary round of the Ulster GAA Championship, with a (seemingly) out of sorts Tyrone GAA travelling to battle it out with Armagh GAA in the BOX-IT Athletic Grounds on Sunday (4:15pm) ✨

A reinvigorated Mayo team under the stewardship of Andy Moran and with the exciting Kobe McDonald on board, take to the air this weekend to play London GAA in Ruislip on Saturday (2:30pm) ✈️

London have had an interesting league campaign, enjoying 3 wins and a draw and narrowly missing out on promotion. Can our 3D colleagues, Shay Rafter, Daniel Clarke, Nathan Mc Elwaine, Ciaran Diver and coach Michael Boyle play a part in causing a seismic shock in Ruislip to really ignite this Championship?

Employee of the Month for March – Chris O'Dowd 👷‍♂️

We are delighted to announce our UK 'Employee of the Month' award winner for March ✨

Chris exemplifies many of the characteristics that make for a popular operative out on site, and as a consequence was a shoo-in for a 3D Employee of the Month Award!

Currently working with Gilbert-Ash on their ongoing Tate Liverpool landmark Gallery redevelopment project, Chris is hard working, flexible and he cares about getting the job done.

Speaking about what Chris brings to the site, our Senior Commercial Manager, Richard Guilliatt had this to say;

"Chris is a great operative to have on site, where his commitment shines through. He has come in out of hours and during shutdowns - Christmas and Easter for example, to ensure vital pumps and other necessary equipment is running.

He can handle a variety of roles and is always popular with the Gilbert-Ash site team. We are lucky to have him on our team, and he is most deserving of this award."

Our Southampton Team were delighted to support a fantastic Wates Group initiative, by attending their Back To Work programme event, which took place last month at One Horton Heath 🏗️

Marcela Szuber and Joanna Janus were joined, in a visit to the Lower Acre site section of One Horton Heath, by participants in the Back2Work programme 🚧

The site visit was led by Wates' Site Manager, Ben Dawes, who gave a great overview of all that happens on a site and explained the house building process. Ben was happy to answer any questions from the group during the site walk through.

Marcela and Joanna were on hand to offer advice, information and encouragement to the participants, while also giving them a better understanding of the potential employment opportunities available upon successful completion of the programme.

Speaking afterwards, Marcela had this to say;

"Joanna and I were delighted to support this Back2Work pre-employment programme by attending the Lower Acre site visit arranged by Wates Group.

Initiatives like this are important as they help learners see how a site really operates and provide the chance to speak face-to-face with both employers and the site team, asking questions and gaining insight into real working environments."

We are delighted to welcome Andrew Stephen to the 3D Team as our new Operations Manager for Scotland 🟦⬜🟦

Andrew brings a wealth of experience to this exciting new role. Starting out in the legal profession, he moved into the construction recruitment field 25 years ago and hasn’t looked back since 🏗️

As our Operations Manager for Scotland, Andrew will continue his mission to supply quality construction personnel to contractors throughout the country, while helping to further grow 3D Personnel’s presence in Scotland.

Speaking about his new role with 3D, Andrew had this to say;

"I'm delighted to have the opportunity to further expand 3D Personnel's presence in Scotland and to help build out our brand.

We aim to become the “go to” recruiter for our expanding client base and deliver an effective and “no nonsense” service.

A proud moment for the 3D London office team and in particular for Ciaran Diver, who has been named alongside the likes of David Clifford, Enda Smith and Sean O'Shea, in this week's GAA Team of the Week!

Continuing their highly impressive Allianz League Division 4 campaign, with victory away to Carlow GAA on Sunday, Ciaran contributed 5 points to the London GAA total in the 0:18 | 1:20 scoreline 🏐

Not far behind on the day was his 3D Personnel colleague Shay Rafter with 4 points scored. Nathan Mc Elwaine also lined out, while Daniel Clarke and coach Michael Boyle both play integral parts within the London GAA set up.

Congratulations once more to Ciaran on this fantastic achievement 👏🏻

Next Sunday they will take to the air again ✈️, travelling to play Antrim GAA in the final league match, with the possibility of a top two finish and promotion to Division 3 still very much alive.

Employee of the Month for February – Jide Onuigbo 👷‍♂️

We are delighted to announce our 'Employee of the Month' award winner for February ✨

Jide has made a great impression since first coming on board with 3D Personnel. Currently working with Quaystone Projects Ltd on their Nursling site, he is hard working, reliable and often goes that extra mile to help keep things moving.

Speaking about Jide's impact at his current site, our Civils & Infrastructure Manager, Connor McKiernan had this to say;

"Jide has been brilliant since day one. He originally went to his current site for what was meant to be a one-week cover, but he settled in straight away and made such a positive impression that he’s now been there for a number of months.

He’s reliable, turns up on time, gets his head down and gets on with the job without needing micro-management.

He works safely, follows instructions and takes real pride in doing things right. On top of that, he gets on well with the team and is great to deal with, which makes a big difference on a busy site.

The impact he has had on site says everything about the standard of his work and the way he conducts himself."

Employee of the Month for January – Harry Gillespie 👷‍♂️

Harry Gillespie operates a Forklift on site at Woolwich, as part of the One Woolwich programme being developed by Partnerships.

Popular on site and always reliable, Harry has been a great ambassador for 3D Personnel over the last two years 🚧

Talking about the recent award to Harry, 3D's Contract Manager, Oran Blaney had this to say;

"We were delighted to nominate Harry Gillespie, for this award, following 2 years of exceptional work with our client Lovell Partnerships.

The site team have constantly commented on his great work ethic and willingness to work brilliantly with all the team on site."
