Employee of the Month for May – Bogdan - Daniel Potarniche 👷‍♂️

We are delighted to announce our first 'Employee of the Month' award winner for May ✨

Our latest UK awardee, Bogdan has had a big impact since joining up with the Wates team at One Horton Heath. Popular on site with subbies and site management, he always gives 100% and is very deserving of this 3D Personnel Employee of the Month Award!

Having started out as a labourer at the groundbreaking One Horton Heath project in Eastleigh, Hampshire, his attention to detail and ability to get things done, has seen him make steady progress and resulted in a move to a supervisory position on site.

Speaking about what Bogdan adds to the site team, Wates Group Logistics Manager, Dave McMullan had this to say;

"Bogdan is a great asset to our team. He is the first in and last out and no matter how busy things get he always has a smile on his face.

He started with the team just over a year ago as a labourer onsite and now has begun to take over the role of supervisor onsite."

Employee of the Month for April – Richmond Asiaw 👷‍♂️

We are delighted to announce our second 'Employee of the Month' award winner for April ✨

Our latest UK awardee, Richmond, works as a general operative at the Barratt London - Sterling Place residential development in New Malden.

His ability to work on his own initiative, while being flexible and approachable, make Richmond a popular addition to any construction site.

Speaking about Richmond's impact at the Sterling Place site after presenting him with his award, our Commercial Manager, Ciaran Diver had this to say;

"We are pleased to nominate Richmond for Employee of the Month, in recognition of his consistently high standards and proactive approach on site.

He is a highly hands on individual who demonstrates excellent awareness and problem solving ability on a day-to-day basis.

He works exceptionally well with management, maintaining clear communication and a positive approach.

Richmond has most recently been working here at Barratt's Sterling Place for 3D and he is a great representation of what we thrive to deliver on site."

The 2026 GAA Championship is well under way, complete with shocks, controversies and big scorelines 🏐

The month of May brings with it the four Provincial Finals, along with the first rounds of the All-Ireland Senior Football and Tailteann Cup Competitions 🌤️

This weekend sees Roscommon GAA and Galway GAA face off at the Hyde, while in Munster, Kerry GAA and Cork GAA battle it out in Killarney.

The following weekend will have Dublin GAA back in Croke Park to face Mark McHugh's rejuvenated Westmeath GAA, while Monaghan's expertise with last second conversions earns them a tilt at Armagh GAA in the Ulster GAA Final in Clones ⏱️

And what about some of the teams dispatched early in their provinces!
Who won't want eyes on the clash of (2025 All Ireland | 2026 Allianz League finalists) Kerry GAA and Donegal GAA in Killarney? Other old rivalries include Cork GAA v Meath GAA | Armagh GAA v Derry GAA | Monaghan GAA v Mayo GAA

The Tailteann Cup also kicks off this weekend and apart from Down, who might lack some motivation after their highs and lows in Ulster, everyone else will fancy their chances of making an impact in the secondary National competition.

A team going all out to make a mark this year in the Tailteann are London GAA, following an interesting league campaign, where they enjoyed 3 wins and a draw and narrowly missed out on promotion.

Leaving nothing to chance in terms of preparation, the London squad recently completed a training camp at Browns Sports Resort, Vilamoura 😎

Part of the group in the Algarve were our 3D colleagues, Shay Rafter, Daniel Clarke, Nathan Mc Elwaine, Ciaran Diver, Ciaran Gaughan along with coach Michael Boyle and kit-man Stevie Collins.

Both Ciaran Gaughan (Pavehall Plc) and Stevie Collins (McLaren Construction Group) are operatives working on site for 3D Personnel 🏗️

We'd like to wish them and their team mates all the best as they travel to Fraher Field to play CLG Port Lairge - Waterford GAA on Sunday (2pm) ✈️

North London Shamrocks

Good luck to Shay, Daniel, Ciaran, Nathan, Michael and the rest of the London GAA team and management for Championship 2026 🏐

With a fuel crisis, global uncertainty and a pretty mixed spring weather wise, has the launch of the GAA Football Championship ever been more welcome?

Over the coming months the top teams will compete for the honour of lifting the Sam Maguire on the 26th of July in Croke Park 🏐

Will any county have what it takes to dethrone the current Champions Kerry GAA? Will their recent Allianz League Final defeat to Official Donegal GAA have any impact come July? Who might be the dark horses this summer? All questions to be answered over the coming weeks and months 📆

This weekend sees a momentous clash in the preliminary round of the Ulster GAA Championship, with a (seemingly) out of sorts Tyrone GAA travelling to battle it out with Armagh GAA in the BOX-IT Athletic Grounds on Sunday (4:15pm) ✨

A reinvigorated Mayo team under the stewardship of Andy Moran and with the exciting Kobe McDonald on board, take to the air this weekend to play London GAA in Ruislip on Saturday (2:30pm) ✈️

London have had an interesting league campaign, enjoying 3 wins and a draw and narrowly missing out on promotion. Can our 3D colleagues, Shay Rafter, Daniel Clarke, Nathan Mc Elwaine, Ciaran Diver and coach Michael Boyle play a part in causing a seismic shock in Ruislip to really ignite this Championship?

Employee of the Month for March – Chris O'Dowd 👷‍♂️

We are delighted to announce our UK 'Employee of the Month' award winner for March ✨

Chris exemplifies many of the characteristics that make for a popular operative out on site, and as a consequence was a shoo-in for a 3D Employee of the Month Award!

Currently working with Gilbert-Ash on their ongoing Tate Liverpool landmark Gallery redevelopment project, Chris is hard working, flexible and he cares about getting the job done.

Speaking about what Chris brings to the site, our Senior Commercial Manager, Richard Guilliatt had this to say;

"Chris is a great operative to have on site, where his commitment shines through. He has come in out of hours and during shutdowns - Christmas and Easter for example, to ensure vital pumps and other necessary equipment is running.

He can handle a variety of roles and is always popular with the Gilbert-Ash site team. We are lucky to have him on our team, and he is most deserving of this award."
