Role: Social media assistant

Type of employment: Part time

About the role: The social media assistant - is responsible for developing and maintaining a strong online presence for the Company and Brands via its social media platforms.
This role is responsible for the implementation and activation of social marketing strategies to attract, engage and positively promote the Brand(s) via its own channels, social influencers and co-branding opportunities.

Working closely with both the marketing and sales teams, this role ensures that all brand content and key messaging is amplified and delivered to the relevant consumer audience, partners and influencers via social media.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Key advocate for the company in all social media spaces, engaging in dialogues with consumers/ influencers/ partners and answering questions on a daily basis.
• Activation of social marketing plan. Driving strategies that are proven by testing and metrics.
• Development of relevant, creative content plan to reach each brand’s target consumer. Curation, and management of all published content for social (images, video, blog etc).

Floor, bar, front of house staff & events assistant roles available - perfect for those needing to find work around a busy university schedule.

Location: SO17,
Part time / flexible

FLOOR
A live music venue is looking for enthusiastic and reliable floor staff to work on a part time basis (12 hrs per week.)

As part of the floor team you will help with greeting / welcoming guests, ensuring server stations are organised and no waste is left in the area.

You will also be assisting with any guest enquiries. No experience is required with this role as full training is given!

BAR
Working across a full spectrum of events across the city, your shift is spread across 3 evenings, Thursday, Friday, Saturday (16 hrs per week.)

You will be serving drinks, taking till orders with some clean-up duties required! Excellent verbal communication skills is a must, and you will be able to work in a very busy environment.

You must of course be over 18 and previous experience is an advantage.

FOH assistant
Reporting to the front of house manager, you will be the first point of contact for the visiting public to the venue.

You will be dealing with card payment, ticket checks and be responsible for replenishment of stock. Customer service experience is essential.

EVENTS & SOCIAL MEDIA ASSISTANT
Working closely with the events manager, you will help to connect with the target audience via various online platforms.

You will work as part of a team to develop campaigns, propose new ideas and concepts. You will be self-motivated with strong proof reading and customer service skills.

Till staff & Online Ticket Agent

Role 1: Till Staff
Location: SO14
Contract type: 10 hours p/w

Both roles require working on a 7 day rota, including evenings and weekends. Shift patterns are flexible, perfect for any university schedule.

Brief job spec -

Working in a fast paced & busy environment, we’re looking for new team members to join us! Both roles together total 16 hours p/w

Duties / responsibilities;

- Excellent customer relations and communication required
- Polite, friendly and approachable personality
- Full training provided
- Operating computerised till
- Operating scanner for tickets
- Taking cash payments
- Process card payments / issue refunds
- Deal with any customer queries as and when necessary
- Keeping till areas clean and tidy
- Fantastic promotional prospects for the right candidate
- Reporting directly to supervisor
- Over time available on request
- On occasion, you may be asked to pitch in and help with other roles, such as scanning e-tickets

Role 2: Online ticket agent
Location: Remote
Contract type: 6 hours p/w

You will be passionate about delivering great customer service, be confident working alone and have excellent interpersonal skills.

Duties / responsibilities;

- Assist with help desk chat for customers
- Provide information on 2020 programme to customers
- Assist with emails and messages to online platforms
- Post relevant ticket links to customers when required
- To deal with any customer service enquiries as and when needed
- Liaise with leadership and ensure all information is passed on and good communication is maintained at all times
- Support leadership on upcoming summer programme campaigns
- Operate and assist in generating ticketing sales
