We are Firmin Recruit, an employment business working on behalf of our clients based in the Larkfield, Aylesford Kent.
We are looking for a HGV 2 Driver for our client for a full time position, this is a genuine full time permanent role.
Interview to be held with client before starting for the full company and job information.
Monday to Friday nights - £14.62ph full time.
This role does not include weekends but there is weekend work available if you want the extra overtime.
Start time is 22.00pm till approx. 5.45am but will vary depending on work load for the night waiting time and traffic.
The main role is to collect/deliver product from Larkfield depot, tip in Heathrow and reload for hub at Grays then back to Larkfield (Maidstone).
Duties include (but are not limited to):-
Checking off goods against paperwork and electronic PDA
Excellent Customer Service skills required
Transport office call in's after each drop and informing them of any issues along the way
opening and closing of curtains, strapping and securing the load.
Debrief at the end of the shift
Completing daily vehicle checks and informing the office of any defects
Download Tacho at the end of daily or weekly shift
Applicants must hold a current / valid C+E Driving Licence , Drivers CPC and a digital tacho.

The role: to provide comprehensive facilities and health and safety support across all UK offices to ensure health and safety standards are met and that buildings are maintained and/or repaired where necessary.

Key Accountabilities:

Facilities Management

Support with the management of all facilities at all UK offices
Carry out maintenance checks across the office, checking for problems and resolving were possible, or escalating
Support with managing onsite security including issuing and cancellation of all security ID passes and administration of our security data base
Work with the HR Director in the appointing of new facility suppliers ( eg. Gas, Electricity etc)
Liaising with Building Management, contractors and suppliers
Health, Safety and Environment

Oversee daily/weekly health and safety checks
Oversee the external health and safety consultant’s monthly audits and take any remedial actions required.
Oversee new starter inductions including issuing of key fobs, alarm codes etc
Ensure all risk assessments and SSOW (Safe Systems of Work) are completed and reviewed
Suitable Candidate:

At least 12 months experience of office based/facilities role
Have some health and safety and or HR experience
Good administrative skills, including typing ability
Strong Microsoft skills including Excel and Power Point
