Over the last 20+ years, our client has helped tens of thousands of people break free from debt and poverty. Due to continued growth, our client is currently on the lookout for a Business Analyst to join their operation in the United Kingdom. Working closely with the Tech and Digital Department this is a truly exciting opportunity to work for an organisation that stands by what it believes and truly puts the needs of people first.
The ideal candidate for this role would be a person who is a Bible Believing Christian with some experience working as a Business Analyst.
As a Business Analyst you will be responsible for
• Identifying and understanding systems as well as technology requirements across the charity
• Improving the process on how the charity defines system requirements
• Gathering the relevant data required to help the Tech and Product teams prioritise, schedule and budget
• Taking ideas from various departments and translating them into well-documented system requirements in line with agile best practices
• Providing information to help Product Teams prioritise system development
• Helping the Core Team and the Head of Technology make good Tech budgeting and recruitment decisions by providing information on current and future demand for Tech improvements
• Supporting the development teams with analysis as they continue to understand legacy systems better and improve development estimates
• Staying up to date with the latest changes in technology, agile development, business analysis and demand planning
Please note this role falls within the scope of the FCA’s conduct rules, and you will be provided with training as to how these apply to the role. It will be your responsibility to ensure that you follow these conduct rules.
About you
• Previous experience working in a Business Analyst position
• Experience documenting system requirements within the department
• Experience with reporting and analytics
• Team player with exceptional communication skills
• Some understanding of customer care, personal finance, fundraising, finance, marketing, IT and HR processes
• Focused, with the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
• Degree level or equivalent vocational training
• Excellent grades in English and Mathematics GCSE or equivalent
