Our name should make it instantly clear what we do. Until now, it hasnโt.
So today, weโre changing it.
As of 1 September, S4S Team is officially known as ๐๐๐ ๐๐จ๐๐ฎ๐ฆ ๐๐๐๐ฆ.
It may only be one additional word, but it gives us a clearer, more recognisable identity and better reflects the strong, established dental staffing company we have become.
One of the biggest reasons for this change is the ongoing confusion between us and S4S Dental Lab.
We started life as a 'little seedling' offshoot to S4S Dental Laboratory, and in the early days of S4S Team we began life in a small office in their huge building. Since then, we have grown into a strong, fully independent company with our own team, client network, systems, values and vision for the future. S4S Locum Team are now firmly established in our own right.
S4S Dental Laboratory is a long-established, highly rated nationwide laboratory, while S4S Locum Team has built its own trusted reputation as a dental staffing partner to practices and professionals across our regions.
Our recent trip to the Dental Forum in Marbella brought the confusion into sharp focus. People were sitting down with the laboratory expecting to meet us, while others met with us expecting to discuss laboratory services. ๐
As much as we enjoyed the unexpected introductions, it was a pretty clear sign that the time had come to give the business we have built an identity that was clearly its own.
Alongside our new name comes a new strapline:

The word ๐ฉ๐๐ซ๐ญ๐ง๐๐ซ๐ฌ is especially important to us.
We are known as experts in dental staffing but being a partner says much more about the way we work. We do not simply fill shifts. We get to know the practices and dental professionals we support, understand what they need and build relationships that last far beyond transactional bookings.
Partnership has always been at the heart of our business. Now, it sits at the heart of our identity too.
This is a new name, not a new business. You can still expect the same team, the same values and the same honest, reliable support.
There has been no dramatic breakup with S4S Dental Laboratory either. We are simply making the seating plan at future dental events a little easier for everyone. ๐
