Apprentice Digital Marketing Assistant

The successful applicant will be joining a modern, vibrant and expanding Business Applications Developer who are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking and self-motivated Apprentice to join their Sales & Marketing Team. The job is located in Sheffield 1. The successful applicant will be proactive, organised and possess good written and verbal communication skills. The successful candidate will assist with the development of the company’s website and the marketing of the company’s portfolio of software based products and services. These duties will involve the maintenance of websites using the Kooboo Content Management System (CMS) and managing marketing campaigns using an email marketing and list manager. The role also involves actively supporting and driving product promotions as well as tackling other ad hoc duties as required. Summary of core duties:
- Managing the company’s presence on Third Party Intermediaries (e.g. Linkedin, Twitter, YouTube, etc)
- Product and service additions to the Corporate Website & Third Party Channels
- Updating and amending product images using Photoshop
- Desk research to develop new market opportunities
- Creating and managing marketing campaigns using the company’s Email Communicator application

- Special Ad Hoc projects
- Competitor analysis

The Source have a new retail course starting week commencing 8th July. It’s a full time 3 week course. The course will help you to gain qualifications, knowledge and skills to help you to move into a retail apprenticeship. The course is planned to be held at The Source in Rotherham however depending on the learner intake this could be at Meadowhall.

Requirements: Must be 16 – 18 and genuinely interested in a career in retail.

Training: Learners will complete a Level 1 Certificate in Retail Knowledge. Also during the course learners will update CV with a view to applying for retail apprenticeship vacancies that are available in Rotherham and Sheffield.

Hours: 9.30am – 3.30pm, Mon – Fri for 3 weeks.

Apprentice Support / Development Engineer

To work for an engineering company, located in Dronfield, S18. The job will include using manufacture tooling, Jigs and fixtures to support production. Will manufacture machine parts using lathes & millers. Will be involved in CNC programming. Will become involved in new product development CAD, prototype production & testing used in the design and production of specials.

Requirements: Minimum 4 GCSE at A-C Must include Maths and English. Some understanding of engineering principles. Good standard of education Maths and English essential. Good level of personal motivation. Keen interest in engineering. Must be ambitious, able to work on your own and as part of a team. Must be able to get to Dronfield.

Training: Advanced Apprenticeship Framework at Level 3.
