The successful candidate(s) will enable our Client to develop her independence and confidence within the home and when accessing age appropriate activities within the local community. You will also be required to fulfil some Client related administrative and domestic duties as part of the role.

Rates of Pay

Monday to Friday: £15.00 per hour

Weekends: £16.00 per hour

The Client

Our Client has dystonic cerebral palsy, severe cognitive and intellectual deficits and an alternating divergent squint. She is non-verbal and is dependent on others for all her daily needs including support with her mobility. You will be required to learn her communication strategies due to her speech and language difficulties.

The role requires the individual to undertake personal care, manual handling and administer medication. Our Client loves swimming and it would be beneficial if the successful candidate(s) are comfortable in water to able to take her swimming. The successful candidate(s) will receive training from our Client's MDT team so that they can participate and support our Client's therapy programmes and adhere to the protocols in the care plan.

Our Client is encouraged to live a full life and taking part in social and recreational activities is vital. She

particularly loves sensory play, swimming, listening to music and being outdoors and her Support Worker(s) are expected to actively participate in all of these activities. Person Specification

* · Experience of working as a Support Worker is essential.

We are looking for someone who has experience of working with or being around young children.

Have an understanding of how neurological conditions and physical disability can impact a person's life would be a huge advantage.

You also need to maintain confidentiality and privacy for Rosie and her family at all times.

Other than that, full training can be given, but it is essential that you are positive, creative with a passion for learning and professional in your approach. While bringing fun and laughter is vital, Rosie doesn't like to be around loud noises so you also need to bring some calmness as well!

The Graduate Legal Assistant will provide direct support to the Principal and report directly to them. The role would suit a Law Grad looking to take their first steps into a Legal position. However, the position would also suit someone with experience.

* Preparing correspondence and documents including audio-typing and word processing in accordance with Case Management systems as appropriate;
* Filing which will include daily filing and the opening, closing, storage and retrieval of client files in accordance with the detailed procedures contained on the Intranet;
* Preparing mail and enclosures for despatch;
* Arranging for all copying to be done;
* Making appointments, arrange meetings and to maintain an up-to-date diary for his/her Principal;
* Preparing the Conference Room for meetings as necessary and for the tidying and clearance of the room at the end of the meeting;
* Providing support to other assistants as required;
* Providing guidance to junior assistants and temporary secretaries when required to do so;
* Attending clients both in person and on the telephone and to provide such support in a professional and friendly manner in keeping with the firm's standards for client care;
* Undertaking any specific training when required to do so and overall to have a responsibility towards self-development;
* Securing the confidentiality and security of the firm's client documentation and information
* Other duties commensurate with the post as designated from time to time by the Partnership.

Skills:

* Good interpersonal skills with ability to communicate effectively with other team members as well as the public both face to face and over the telephone;
* Able to use own initiative and take ownership of tasks;
* Be highly organised with an ability to see tasks through to completion;
* Demonstrate a good level of ICT skills, particularly in the use of Microsoft Office;
* A Driving Licence is required for this role.
